His problem isn't really all the other games-- I feel like he usually has good enough game plans vs other programs, and we're always in the games (Other than 2020 Bama... That team was unstoppable) . It's the Michigan games. Since that 2021 loss, he has refused to play skill-ball vs Michigan. He neglects the outside talent he has, and leaves his defense out to dry because they are playing into Michigan's hands with this slow, methodical, run-the-ball style. Sure, you gotta run the ball. You also gotta put the football in the hands of Jeremiah Smith and Emeka Egbuka. I don't know about what yall think, I think running the ball up the middle when you have an interior line composed entirely out of backups against the two best DT's in the country might not be a good idea. Abandon the zone run shit vs. Michigan. They are too big and too athletic. Man up and pull some fucking guards if you want to run it. Competent play action and RPO's are almost entirely absent when we've played Michigan the last few years.
