What city does this dude live in? The roads and streets are beautiful. So nice and smooth and almost no car traffic. He can ride forever and cover hundreds of miles. There are plenty of bike lanes, too. I live in Queens in NYC and it sucks to ride my scooter or bike. Hardly any bike lanes, the streets are filled with portholes that swallow 10 inch tires and dozens of cars on every freaking block all day long. There is such a great difference in cities and riding scooters in NYC is like risking your life on each ride. Riding a scooter 20mph on my local streets would have you bouncing all over the place. I should move to where this guy lives just to ride my scooter in peace. I'm happy for him and like to watch his nice rides on open roads and closed trails. I'm glad there are still places like that in the U.S. Stay away from NYC if you want to enjoy safe PEV riding
I was getting horrible battery life today. Come to find out rear tire was flat. I did like you and ordered two new Dualtron 3 tubeless tires cuz I don’t play around. Nobody got time for flats when I’m tryin to rip on a 3k scooter. Also, ordered the rear kickstand like yours. Love my toys!
So received my tires n rims. Took the back one off like you did but the bolts had locktite on them and one stripped out and the other the head broke off. Total crap! I managed to mount the other rim and wheel on filled about 45psi and test rode it. Ran like a champ! Plus, installed the rear kickplate/handle and I love it.
The 2 main problems you experienced can be solved by doing this, for the eye-one do a we shim made out of paper any paper will do but start at 80 gsm. For the other problem mudguard screws go purchase an Allan key, grind it or get a machine shop, you will be grinding down the short edge till it can fit in. Not hard fixes. I had a dualtron 3 till a week ago when it got stolen 😩
Breaks my head gets me in a rage to hear this. Damn. How? In the future security is a three step process. Hiplock D1000. Grinder proof U-lock . I have the Skunk lock U-lock. Next best thing down. A movement alarm. Also a disc lock. Then gps. ALL this makes it a PIA for the person looking to take your hard earned stuff and move on.
Thanks for the vid. Im having also 2 flats on my Dualtron Victor in 2 weeks. Both of them with 65kmh speed, straight smooth road and pinch hole on the rim side. So thanks to your advice I ordered Dualtron 3 tubeless tires. Lets see if I can ride with more confidence and don't have to call someone to pick me up in the future.

I have another scooter on the way with a claimed top speed of 56mph! Yeah a damper would be nice. I get a bit of wobble at the highest speeds. The new tire does look like a solid tire, i thought the same thing

I did it on both. I didn’t notice a big difference in ride quality. It’s not any softer or harder than regular road tires in my opinion. It’s great for flats though. It needs a press puncture to go flat and you can plug it or patch it just like a car tire. No more buying endless amounts of tubes.

@@doublahh cornering and top speed increased before is 82 after on speedo 92. With stock tires in dual motor mode front wheel can’t catch traction before 45 km/h with these tires 25 km/h. Best thing about it these tires very durable. I flatted 5 times in a month. After 6 months 4000 kms and 2 set of tires never a single tire flatted. I highly recommend you to install these tires
No tube on rear tire since this is a tubeless conversion. The stock tire is marked on the wheel itself for 50 PSI. Recommend getting a slime valve extender to actually pump it.

@@rageburst dude, both tubed and tubeless tires need air, what the h-ell are you talking about.......stock ones 50 psi yes, but with inner tube. He replaced both rim and tire, for the DT3 rim, and the DT3 tire, that is tubeless (no tube inside), but still needs to pump air into it..... geeezz......
You should get yourself some PMT 90/60R6.5 tires. They fit the Dualtron 3 wheel but give you a real street tire that lasts and corners amazing. I have them on my Dualtron 3 I had to slightly modify my frame at stock ride height but if you lower it, it will still clear the rear damper. If you would like more details, let me know.
I recommend getting steering dampeners too. It'll make your ride a lot less dangerous. Other than that, it's great news that we can upgrade the tires. I'm currently using slime, and if I see it start to seep out of the tubes, then I'll upgrade myself. Thanks a mil for doing the testing for us.

Not sure if the new tire is smaller diameter than stock, but at least with cars that have AWD, a major discrepancy between the front and rear tire diameter can cause damage to drivetrain.
If you getting a lot of flats first thing is to check tyre pressure, honestly I do not get why it cannot be converted tubeless in the old "ghetto" style with gorilla tape like it is done for mtb, also why you are bothering at all, for example with MTB we can run lower pressures which equals more grip, here you need exactly opposite at higher speeds?
Does varla have something this for the eagle one? I have used the foam inserted tire and it flat spotted because the foam became soft. I have so many flats not because of punctures but because the tubes are garbage.

They make the better end of scooters, build quality etc and you need to consider there is a Dualtron 10x . What is far more important is. 1 body weight as it will determine top speed, stopping distance etc 2 what terrain will you be on generally (imp How does it handle, Breaking etc, balance, top speed is irrelevant as that is actually subjective.
For that exact reason, i upgraded my Dualtron Spider to DT3 Motors/Rim Definitely a must upgrade! It's a complete plug and play swap with the DT3 controller as well

I changed both tires and I highly recommend it. These tires maybe less thinner but more grippy than stock ones

Yeah it's slightly smaller diameter but I will be swapping out the front for the same size tire as well so i wasn't worried about it for one ride

If you go off road tires and better tubes you shouldn't have issues with flats. Check out my video about upgrading the Varla to off-road tires

For each of these scooters, the given performance is only nominal. You can't go that far...
