🇬🇷 THE HANGING MONASTERIES - METEORE GREECE/ ग्रीस में आश्रित मठ/อารามที่พึ่งพาในกรีซ מטאורה יוון

משמעות השם מטאורה ביוונית הוא "מעל השמיים". נזירים החלו לבנות את המנזרים בראשי הצוקים, על מנת להיות קרובים לאלוהים, החל מהמאה ה-11. כיום נותרו במטאורה שישה מנזרים בלבד. המנזרים הבנויים על סלעי הענק, נצפים מהתצפיות הפזורות לאורך הכביש המתפתל בינהם.
מטאורה נחשב לאחד מפלאי תבל, ודי בצדק, מדובר במיקום מרהיב ועוצר נשימה שאין כמותו בשום מקום אחר.
Το όνομα Μετέωρα στα ελληνικά σημαίνει «πάνω από τον ουρανό». Μοναχοί άρχισαν να χτίζουν τα μοναστήρια στην κορυφή των γκρεμών, για να είναι κοντά στον Θεό, ξεκινώντας από τον 11ο αιώνα. Σήμερα έχουν απομείνει μόνο έξι μοναστήρια στα Μετέωρα. Τα μοναστήρια που είναι χτισμένα πάνω στους γιγάντιους βράχους φαίνονται από τις επιφυλακές που είναι διάσπαρτες κατά μήκος του ελικοειδή δρόμου ανάμεσά τους.
Τα Μετέωρα θεωρούνται ένα από τα θαύματα του κόσμου, και πολύ σωστά, είναι μια εντυπωσιακή και συναρπαστική τοποθεσία που δεν μοιάζει με πουθενά αλλού.
The name Meteora means "above the sky" in Greek. Monks began to build the monasteries on top of the cliffs, in order to be close to God, starting in the 11th century. Today only six monasteries remain in Meteora. The monasteries built on the giant rocks can be seen from the lookouts scattered along the winding road between them.
Meteora is considered one of the wonders of the world, and quite rightly so, it is a spectacular and breathtaking location unlike anywhere else.
