Hey La hotsu. Great work. You did well to use a real vacuum pump and make the tube interchangeable. As you probably saw, without being able to blow through the neddles, fluff or dirt can block the needles. I hope you got it working smoothly in the end.
Great work. Some questions: What size needles are you using in this example? How often does a needle fail to pick up a seed? How many psi are you running the vacuum at? How do you make an airtight seal at the ends of the interchangeable grey tubes? What would you do to improve the system?
Thank you for watching. I used the blue needles that are 23G(ID0.33mm OD0.63mm), but now I think that little bit larger size is better, because smaller size of needles are often blocked by trash and cleaning is hard.Of course larger size also has problem that some of needles catch some seeds. If needles are cleaned up at the start, blue ones can catch around 80%.(considering they gradually catch trash.) In the spec seet of the vacuum pump, gauge pressure is -80kPa.I think it is overspec. At the geer side of the tube, I pluged with a rubber stopper and fixed it with a screw just in case. And the other side is just only combined with endcap. At the center of the endcap I drilled a hole and tapped thread, and it connected with tube fitting. The threads of screw and fitting are winded sealing tape. Mistake of catch is occurred by many factors, especially in the case of decreasing quantity of seeds in the tray. I think it is nessesary to build seeding component more accurately. For example, as the distance between the needles and the tray of seeds becomes more equal(this means that the tray place parallel to the tube), probability of catch is increased maybe. In addition I'd like to improve the vibration motor. There are too many improvement points to mention.
So I'm busy making one for myself and something I've come across with the seeds not being picked up. The big nurseries that use vacuum seeders, they use seed that has a thin organic polymer coating to give the needles the ability to effectively capture a seed every pass, by applying a thin consistent coat of something that will allow the needles to seal or at minimum partially seal a vacuum against, it drastically increases seed capture to 100%
You might be talking about Luer Lock Fitting? If so, I used VRM306(axel.as-1.co.jp/asone/d/5-1043-03/?q=vrm306) and needles are got from aliexpress(ja.aliexpress.com/item/32825628644.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.27424c4dlrXPmB)
Is the dimension size of the luer lock fitting where the head that used to connect the needle is same? Cause I didn't see any dimension script for the part that for connecting the needle
Hello la hotsu...one question please....can you made this machine and send it to me or send me a list of the all materials you use to made the machine? I am Kostas from Greece. Thanke you for your time.
Hi Sr. Great work, congrats. I would like to ask you a favor, would you be so kind to share the code? I want to build a machine for my brother who really needs it a lot. Greetings

Hi sir, what kind of motor driver are you using?
I am using the L298N driver and have a problem with overheating
Thanks
I used DRV8825 driver.
But I think that you can use heatsink or small fan.
If you already did it, I will be sorry.
Marvelous sir! Congratulations.

Do you know the brand of the polymer they use ?
Hola muy bueno tu trabajo
Hi, what is the model and size of the white vacuum pad or suction cup and dimension of the needle used?

I think they have standard size. All of the needles and fittings that I have are same size.
But It is necessary to care about male or female.
What program arduino for this project...can i have sir..i want make in home for hidroponik.thanks
Hola hotsu, me preguntó si vendes la sembradora o un manual de como construirlo.
Can i get your project component details and connection details
How did you achieve the sucking and blowing of seeds?
What stepper motor did u use? NEMA 17? for the conveyor.
Yes, model No. is 17HS4401.
How can I buy this from you?
Hello. Can I buy such a device from you?
How can i contact you !
amazing job bro

GREAT WORK
Please give complete diagram about it
a echo alguna modificacion a la maquina , buen trabajo
Could you sell it to me?
Donde la puedo comprar
Hello! Do you have any social media. I have something to ask regarding my thesis. Huhu Thank you
