I made a point of seeing Gil - ‘80’s, Battersea Park - he played this politically stirring track - & the hairs on the back of my neck were on end! It’s the Truth! My brother's in law listened to Gill Scott Heron daily, and this was in the late 70's and early 80's and beyond. We still have his words and music in our soul!!!!!

When I was a young girl, I heard of Johannesburg thru Gil and his music. Finally in 2018, I get my first chance to visit Jburg!
My daughter just came home from spending three months in SA. She loved it and had so many stories to tell. Have a great time.
