First time viewer. The runners look fab! All the work you did before laying down the runners looks great, too! You do good work. Love the runners. Love the colors. Obviously, they are kitty-approved!😂 I am a cat person, so, naturally, I am in love with your kitties now.🥰 Your dogs are cute, too! The Society 6 mural is a winner, also! I want to install runners on the stairs in my husband’s and my home, too. This has been a great tutorial, for which I am very grateful. I like your idea of installing an underlayment - I would never have thought about doing that! Thank you so much for doing this video! I will be hitting that subscribe button right after I post this commentary!😊
I also think this is a great tutorial, but I need a list of what was used in this project posted here for reference--especially source for rugs (and how many were used?) plus supply info (TIA for adding these details!)
Thank you so much for your kind words, I'm so glad you enjoyed this 😊 it was a lot of work, but definitely worth it! I thank Pinterest for the underlayment, I looked at a lot of different tutorials for installing a stair runner before I dove it. I'm really glad I did!
I'll be adding this soon! In terms of the length of rug you need, you would have to measure your exact staircase to get the length as every staircase could be a little different.
Beautiful !!!Run a Bead of clear Silicone caulking across the floor and trim at the bottom to stop dust gathering under it. It's clear. You won't even see it as long as you don't overdo it.❤
😊 Yes, you should be pleased and proud of yourself! What a lovely transformation. I like your colour choices. Pet hair and "gunk" gets everywhere, that's life. 🐶🙋♀️😸
Great job! I love the carpet that you picked out. The wall tapestry was a marvelous idea. Gorgeous picture. Something to look at besides a wall. Good thinkin’!!! 😊
Dang, you can do it all! Measure, cutting boards, prime, paint, sand, caulking, sewing, iron, and don’t forget all that vacuuming! Great job, beautiful result. Subscriber #207. 😀
Thank you! I gave up on the hand vacuums a while ago lol, there's just not enough suction with those. I utilize a plug in vacuum, vacuum the rug part as usual and then I have a horse hair attachment for the hose and use that on the painted parts so I don't scratch them up. Maybe I need to find a plug in hand vac that has great suction!
Definitely! I actually having a weaving channel @SpruceAndLinen, so i hang a lot of tapestries from dowels and whatnot, for this one I wanted to see wood and I guess have it look a little less like a tapestry. 😊
I used a professional upholstery stapler (I used to be an upholsterer for a few years), with 3/8" long staples- I can't find info on the gauge of staples it takes but they are quite thing which helped them hide in the rug well. The length of staples would depend on the thickness of the rug you're using.
@JenellFlynn 😆 I have a cat that's the same way lol also, the stairs turned out great! I really like the idea of hanging a tapestry. Gives the area that extra little something
AS a designer, I would darken the handrailing to match the brown in the carpet runner
FANTASTIC JOB!!! DDecker
Thank you very much!

Thank you! 😊
Turned out very nice.
Thank you so much 😊
Absolutely awesome...
Thank you!! 😊
Looks amazing!! You need one of those cat hair scrapers and a Shark hand vac.
Thank you! I gave up on the hand vacuums a while ago lol, there's just not enough suction with those. Beautifully done. A tapestry can be hung on a curtain rod. If you use curtain rings or you could make a rod pocket by sewing it.
Love the colors😊

Love the rug. Would you mind sharing where you got it? Thanks

Hi. I looked at the rug online and some reviews said there is a lot of pink in the pattern. Did you find that to be true?
Yes! There’s a decent amount of light pink in it.
That's too bad. it won't work for me.
Looks great!😊
Thank you!
Looks awesome..good job
Thank you!
Yesssss! You're so creative and your colour choices are always on point. I can't wait to see how you take on your home
Thank you so much!! I really appreciate that 😊
"Cull-king"??? That's funny.
The runner's nice too.
Great job! Your attention to final details made/makes a huge difference. I was a doubter but the mural looks so good!
Thanks so much! I was kind of a doubter of that too at first haha 😅 but I’m happy with how it turned out 😊
Impressive!!
Thank you!
Whau ! Amazing job 🤩👌🏼💚🐈🌝

Yay!!! ❤ loving it!
Thanks so much! 😊
very nice!
Thank you!
I know this is your first video on this channel, but wondered why you haven't linked your two channels on the other channels tab? 💖🌞🌵😷
Did you use staples or Brad nails with your pneumatic tool? How long of a fastener did you use?
I used a professional upholstery stapler (I used to be an upholsterer for a few years), with 3/8" long staples- I can't find info on the gauge of staples it takes but they are quite thing which helped them hide in the rug well. That cat showed no respect lol but you gotta love em 😂
Hahaha right?! She’s so sweet and snuggly and also a complete turd all at the same time 🤣
@JenellFlynn 😆 I have a cat that's the same way lol also, the stairs turned out great! I really like the idea of hanging a tapestry. Gives the area that extra little something
I hope you left the kitty footprint! Everything looks fantastic.
Haha, I didn’t but I do have this video to forever remember this moment 😹
