I am 52 and snapped both ACL in Judo first my right then my left 8 years after. Nobody's fault it was my own fault for not pivoting as I came in for uchi mata, this video taught me a lot going to try and teach this to the younger judokas at the dojo. Thank you Sensei.
Thank you very much! This is the first time I’ve watched such a comprehensive tutorial of uchimata. You made it seem easy to learn! Subscribed instantly
Im a left handed judoka and this is my main throw against right handed judokas. I'd recommend it to any lefthanded players. The throw is often intimidating to beginners, but I believe it to be a much easier throw than seoi nage, which is often one of the first throws beginners learn.
Very very useful ! Here we have some misunderstandings that uchi mata must be always with the classical tsurite and entry and this video shows a very simple way. Arigato gozaimasu.
@@fluidjudojapan I like your style how you share your judo skills ... and in my opinion ... brilliant teaching comes from all your videos. In the future, is any chance to create a video about a fast-spinning uchimata? Thank you sensei!
Thank you Sensei! 🙇🏻♂️ Thank you so much! My competitions are close, so this videos will be very useful in my preparation and for competition! 🥋🙇🏻♂️❤️🔥 おおきに!
Beautiful technique ❤ love the first step to clear the forward leg, then lift, rotate and finish. I wonder if this uchimata could be done from an under the arm around the waist grip? ❤
Just found your channel, enjoy tremendously. I train mma, bjj, aikido and kali but never strictly judo. I really think your videos will improve my overall skills. Thanks much.
Not quite correct. Maruyama uchi Mata is oikomi uchi Mata, a pushing variation. Yours is something like Aaron wolf style. Nevertheless, I believe you did a good job showing the technique. Cheers.
Japanese judo is great i have watch Japanese university student 3dan black belt do same style of uchimata caunt stop technique lefty gone try learn this style of uchimata lefty just not very flexible problem have. subscribed to channel to learn more from best cheers
Well, this is good but ... I came in hope to find a solution against this ! Every lefty opponent is doing this to me, and I cannot find a good solution to it ! They only do this one technique, so they are quite good at it.
Best judo channel on TH-cam by far

@yivo9996 thanks🖐️ UCHIMATA is not an easy throwing technique, but please practice hard and master it.

Sensei if no gi mma sparring still can use those steps?
Thanks @jerryjerry4369🖐️
I think so👍
In MMA, the purpose is to get a good position, and in Judo, the purpose is to throw, so there is a difference.
Can you recommend me where I can train judo in Japan. I will probably go next year to Tokyo. I am a beginner.

一般的な内股じゃないですね。
足を入れて、床に付けてから跳ね上げる。
独自の内股ですね。
普通は、跳ね足を床に付けずに、内股を跳ね上げます。
