F-GEXB is the oldest Air France B747 in service. It's a B747-4B3M, he entered the fleet on 29 December 1992 (nice Christmas gift!), so he's 21 years old. Apparently the oldest aircraft in the whole Air France fleet! ;)

Great video ! I also flew from Montreal to Paris on one of these retrofitted 744s and I thought it was really well done from AF, the new IFE is way better and the seat comes with USB ports etc.
Excactly! How old do you suspect Air Frances B747s are? They seem to be in good condition and I know that they were the last airline that took delivery of a B747-400...What do you think?
I was just looking that up too. Even before, at 247 feet, it wasn't the worlds longest airplane. That title goes to the AN-225 Mriya at 276 feet. Even so.....pretty cool video.

I flew on Air France B-747-400 in 2008 and 2009 to Paris, very nice flights and service. Also the wine was free.

It'd be great to experience a flight on a brand new Boeing 747-8 series aircraft.
I've flown on the 748 a number of times into and out of KBOS, it's definitely better then the 400!
The new cabin was nice better than the old one.

1:55 the b747-8i is the longest but the a340 is very long as well.

Well .. I actually don't know :) But kinda old I guess, and AF said that they would not have more 747s by 2016 or 2017.
