    for the loco why not add a rod? wouldnt look too bad

      Thanks for the comment! That has bothered me also. I can on the one side (left), but on the other the actual motor sticks out too far so it would look awkward, imo. And I'd have to drill and tap holes in the pot metal wheels. The actual 3D print I used was originally used to test the idea, but I decided to use it anyway. If I can find a different style of powertruck with the motor mounted on the top (not the side), I will make side rods and have a more complete look, but still whimsical.
