    Thanks for sharing your recipe for matoke. Looking forward to trying it my self. Hopefully I can find the matoke and Royco spices at the local African market.
    I also remember eating boiled mogo and peanuts during recess at school. Also buying fried mogo, roasted corn and peanuts, green mango with spices from roadside vendors.

      @@TheMayanjaFamily , not yet, but interestingly I came across a new store selling arts and crafts from African and other countries, including Uganda. I bought a painting from a Ugandan artist, very similar to the paintings I remembered in Kampala.
