I was there that night and it was a bummer that the whole crowd seemed to be waiting for the main event. My wife, my friend, and myself were rockin out so hard trying to give the love back and Nahko and Ribner actually acknowledged us while singing. Pretty cool way to connect. Also, Tim Snider came out after and i got to meet him. Such a cool band and powerful surge of love and kindness.
I was thinking...how can they stay seated. I would be UP💕
I was there that night, too. I can actually be seen in the video many times. I went to see The Avett Brothers, but I walked away as a new fan of Nahko. I often come back to the video to relive that moment.

Their shows are memorizing in a way that all you can do is sit and take it in sometimes. The crowd is just in a trance.
So true. A live video just doesnt do it justice. Caught them live in chattanooga. Literally the entire crowd was balling their eyes out at the sight of him, then he sang love letters to god in the crowd, everyone he hugged and touched immedietly started crying. It is seriously the closest feeling I've ever had to true happiness i can recall.

I saw them perform last month. When Nahko sang "Peace in America", the crowd shouted it back. It was so profound. To have that many people passionately call out for peace. It left a vibrational resonance in that venue. That's how you create a change. Respect to my brothers.

This was a great experience. I came to Red Rocks for The Avett Brothers and never hearing of you guys. I was an instant fan that night. Even spy myself towards the front dancing! Such a fantastic moment. I remember the goosebumps I got that night just like it was yesterday!
I love that after letting people hear your music, they tell me they can't help, but, be changed and moved by it. You guys are changing the world. Keep spreading the medicine, as will I.

Great show, plus hemphealsfoundation.org was cool. NO... GREAT show! Asbury Park NJ on Sunday (last show on the tour) was the PINNACLE tho. Awesome Dear Brother with so many feathers flying and fists up, it was beyond beyond. LOVE Nahko Bear and the tribe

The first dislike is for the crowd for not going crazy and dancing right? It can't be the song. When I saw this song being performed in the Netherlands everybody was going loco from the beginning to the end :-)

The whole crowd in Amsterdam went crazy and started dancing within the first minute of Four Directions and never stopped. It was such an amazing performance

Folks, MFTP was opening for The Avett Brothers for this gig. An outstanding fanbase that swallows ticket sales in minutes. It was a great gig, but most folks were there to see the main act. But trust me, the tribe was well represented! The whole night from Nahko to The Avett Bros. was epic.

red rocks is my favorite place! My favorite concert there was Allman Brothers, such a good show. Morrison is a nice little town and if you ever get the chance try BEAU JO'S PIZZA.......ITS THE BEST!!!!!

Wish they had filmed this year at Red Rocks instead; the crowd energy was so much better and I love the way the song has evolved. Last year the crowd kind of sucked because a lot of them were there for Avett Brothers and MFTP was the opening band.

Love your music and most of the time love your message delivered in each song. However, I think you're a little delusional with the whole "brown and black people are systematically murdered by police". You may want to look up which race in this country is killed more by police yearly. Here's a hint....they aren't brown or black.
Also, it would be nice for an artist to speak out about what's really hurting people of color....:they're own violence amongst themselves. Peace starts with whats on our plate, end slavery/torture/murder of animals otherwise karma will be when all humans (regardless of colour/nationality/religion) are treated just as bad as they are.
