    Great video, I watched it a couple of times just to listen to ya Scottish accent (I lived in Glasgow for 4 years before going home to Australia)

    Agree with Derosa, definitely a crankshaft position sensor fault, had exactly the same symptoms and code on a Grande Punto last week Sandy

    Possibly crankshaft sensor failing when hot. That would explain loss of engine rpm. Perhaps the loss of engine speed makes ecu think camshaft sensor is out of sync

    Hi sandy I've a Dodge nitro crd 2.8 cam shaft position sensor changed by local garage 🤔 did last one meeself this time no start high pressure pump and injectors all changed Inc New timing belt water pump 18months ago any ideas as garage recons will have to go to dealer as he's stumpted Could be an ecu issue keeps throwing up the cam shaft sensor code but def new one in 🤔🤯 any help be appreciated I recognise that road is that back roads past polbeth ,west Calder way .🤔

      It's usually the crank sensor that's the problem even though it says CAM Sensor

      Bleed screw on diesel filter was bleeding in air

    I would remove drv and mprop and inspect for debries

      Just a heads up Ian, csm sensor never fixed it! What do u think next move should be?

      @@sandyande Out of my depth when it comes to diesel Sandy...I wouldn’t dismiss the Battery/sense DTC’s. The vehicle being 16 years old may be suffering from decrepitude at the Battery terminals/cables...check the integrity of the block and chassis grounds. Monitoring the fuel pressure PID’s on a test drive might offer some direction. Very strange the scan tool drops when the engine stalls...loss of power (supply/ground)...You likely have considered all of this. Best O luck to you and Roddy 👍
