These are so beautiful, Brandy, but I don't know where I would find the pieces to make similar things.
Places I would start looking would be thrift stores, garage sales, estate sales. After that I would consider speaking to family and friends to see if they have anything stashed in their basements or attics that they don’t use but haven’t purged. This takes a little more work because you would likely have to climb in spaces and dig through boxes but it’s so worth it. I enjoy all those things and find it satisfying.

I love the dark wood of the wall shelf drawer thing. After you finished, I mean. I was so glad to see you upcycling these dark wood thrift pieces. Dark wood is what suits my home the best, and sometimes I get irritated when I see diyers painting every thing they get. I loved the way you enhanced the wood with wood tint and your homemade wood conditioner. It looks so good!!!

I really love all three of these, Brandi. In fact, I have a couple of those wall shelves that I thrifted a good number of years ago! I used to use them as spice racks, but there's no room in my kitchen in this house for them now. You've given me inspiration to haul them out and give them a re-make for another purpose in a different room. Thanks for another great video.

WOW!!! I love all of them, absolutely gorgeous. I love Victorian decor, and shabby chic too. As for Montana weather, we got to 50 below zero wind chill one night, we were below zero for almost a week. Our propane regulator froze on the propane tank , so we were without heat for over a week, we used 7 electric space heaters, which I ain't comfortable with, I just don't trust them at night while sleeping or when we aren't home. Anyways thank god today we got to 31 degrees.
I love these projects. I'm inspired. We have a bunch of. Stuff in our shed that I can makeover. Really love these flips!🤩

I'm in the Willamette Valley in Oregon.. I never travel anymore. Too many health problems.. fighting cancer at the moment. Regardless, if you ever make it our here, I would love to make you a nice dinner or just have tea if you have the time. I just love watching you, and would love to, from what I can tell, have more people like you in my life. People like you give me hope for this world.
If it Is shellac that is covering an item, you can use denatured alcohol to break down & clean all of the shellac off! Dead Bugs, 😮Yuck! Who ever thought of using that in the first place?😢
If people want to recreate exact pieces there are plenty of "Dollar Tree" channels out there. I prefer yours, Cozy Junk Studio, Sonnets Garden Blooms, Julie's Designs and Signs, and Roycycled for flipping. 😍

I live in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. We just got through a week or so of sub arctic temperatures of -45C. The air was frozen it was so cold. We have had a pretty mild winter thus far though, so we can't complain. Haha! I love watching your channel by the way. You're one of my favorite crafters. ❤

The thing I love bout your thrifted pieces is that it helps me think outside of the box when I see different pieces. I don’t want to make the same thing as everyone else. Even when I do make a project that all of the same items are available I still do it a bit differently, because I am “Making it my own!”😉😜 You and I have the same tastes and have a lot in common but still do things differently enough that it is true to our unique way of creating and I just love the inspiration you bring. I will be following along and the first five steps I would do the same but then the next step I think, oh no. And I change it to what I like. So please, keep finding those wonderful unique and individual thrifted pieces. 🙏🏼♥️

Lampshade prices are terrible these days! Depending on their covering decoupage with paper or fabric works well, and some can be painted.

Brandy, loved these Victorian pieces. Just beautifully done. I loved the lamp and turning the ḍesk organiser with drawer that turned out as shelving with drawer organizer(or just by make it be more of space save for all) were my favorites but loved what you did to change your daughters decor with such an gorgeous 'Temu' large stunning rose. clings with your placement of butterflies 'made it your own' that makes it very special as well. Great ideas and great job for being self taught, you're blessed with a great crafter/crafting great therapy.

Your in different part country than me but I'm originally from Illinois and my aunt said a poor woman in front her house ( maybe checking mail?) Fell no one around when found her still alive but she succumbed to hyperthermia exc. Spelling I can't get out my mind!!!!
