I use one of those old style knife sharpeners that look like a yo-yo. The tin foil doesn’t actually sharpen blades, it just cleans gunk off of the blade, which can sometimes be helpful in making them cut better.

Walmart sells a few things I have found invaluable. Fiskars puts put a scissor sharpener that is very inexpensive & never fails me. They also carry a tiny iron, & a stand up steamer. When I am working with fake flowers, they are often smooshed. As the steam rises it it great, it allows you to use both hands to steam & smooth at the same time. Poof flower looks brand new. The tiny iron has become one of my best tools. I hope this helps all.

You need some of those silicone fingers, to protect yourself from the glues heat! Melting the glue sticks in a tiny fondue pot size crackpot. Or the disposable foil pans that fit into a holding framework & goes over a tealight candle. Like used at weddings or other occasions! I prefer the crackpot because it has a lid to keep out dust or lint & cat hair, when not in use❤

FIRST PROJECT: The ceiling fixture is called a 'Ceiling Rose' in the UK. They are ususally made from plaster and I have always liked them.
SCISSOR SHARPENING: I always use tin foil. When I need to buy it for my kitchen I buy another roll for my craft room. It only costs £1 (POUNDLAND, liked the DOLLAR STORE/TREE). I also use it for my rotary cutters. The cut pieces could be put aside for a craft project so hopefully no waste.
TALL CANDLES: The fireplace - I love log fires.
TART PAN FLOWERS: Minus the beads a white fragranced tea light candle could be added instead and placed on the dining table as 'mood' lighting. Just an alternative idea. The wire could be replaced with 3 mm wide red satin ribbon. Great project though.

I loved the Millwork, and the tiny poinsettias are sweet. I use the tins to put Christmas pictures coarse my grandchildren pictures. My daughter always gets pictures done every year in formal wear. 😊 They are treasures, and I love to display them.
Speaking of Temu, I bought several different sloughs from them this year. Not to expensive, about 5-6$ and really good quality. Our thrift store doesn't always carry what I'm looking for or anything interesting. So Temu is a cheaper option than some others. I added substantially to my greenery this year from Temu. Their greens are beautiful. I was able to pick up the dollar tree larger trees on Temu, and they are better quality.

I use a wet stone to sharpen my blades and scissors. There are scissor and blade sharpening whatsits that you place the blade into. I was trained in outdoor survival as a kid, and we all had a pocket knife with a wet stone right there in the little holder, so I'm comfortable with that :-)

Delightful Victorian ornaments. I have some ornate antique round grate covers. I have found what I am going to do with them. The ceiling medallion got me to thinking about them. Loved the inspiration.

Fyi...I discovered that using wood chopsticks works great for pushing stuff down into hot glue or positioning items delicately onto hot glue dots. Dont burn my hands and fingers any more!
