Mukundra hills tunnel Rajasthan | 8 lane Tunnel Delhi Mumbai Expressway |

Mukundra hills tunnel For the first time NHAI is making Animal Corridor keeping in view the safety of animals. A record Rs 1,200 crore will be spent on the tunnel. The length of this tunnel will be three times more than the normal tunnel.
Not only this, it will be soundproof, lightproof, pollution-proof. The Union Forest Ministry has approved the project. The design of this tunnel has been prepared in such a way that there will be no effect on the habitat of wild animals.
The tunnel will be built at a depth of 5 to 10 meters in Mukandra Hills. This tunnel will start about 500 meters from the beginning of the tiger reserve area and will go up to 500 meters after the end of the reserve area. It is believed that this will be the longest tunnel in Rajasthan. About 2 thousand crore rupees will be spent in this. The tunnel work is to be completed by 2023.
जीवों की सुरक्षा को देखते हुए पहली बार एनएचएआई एनिमल कॉरिडोर बना रहा है. टनल पर रिकॉर्ड 1200 करोड़ रुपए खर्च किए जाएंगे. इस टनल की लंबाई सामान्य टनल से तीन गुना ज्यादा होगी. इतना ही नहीं, यह साउंडप्रूफ, लाइटप्रूफ, पॉल्यूशनप्रूफ होगी. केंद्रीय वन मंत्रालय प्रोजेक्ट को मंजूरी दे चुका है. इस टनल का डिजाइन इस तरह से तैयार किया गया है कि वन्य जीवों के रहवास पर कोई प्रभाव नहीं पड़ेगा. टनल मुकंदरा हिल्स में 5 से 10 मीटर की गहराई में बनाई जाएगी. यह टनल टाइगर रिजर्व एरिया शुरू होने से करीब 500 मीटर से शुरू होगी और रिजर्व एरिया खत्म होने के बाद 500 मीटर तक जाएगी. माना जा रहा है कि यह राजस्थान की सबसे लंबी टनल होगी. इसमें करीब 2 हजार करोड़ रुपए खर्च होंगे. टनल का काम 2023 तक पूरा किया जाना है.
