I just simply love watching and listening to your films. Really look forward to them - please don’t stop cos you are creating joy. Thank you and best wishes to you both.
We're really happy you are going to have more EPs available in the future. It will also be interesting to see some more of Ciara's theatre work if and when possible. Perhaps a kind of 'a day n the life of' type of feature. In the meantime keep doing what you are doing, it always leaves us with a smile on our faces! Dafydd & Ann xx
Hi both! Hope you are having a good week! I think Ciara should also film more of her theatre work, I find it equally as interesting seeing what she gets up to in her working life. Great idea! Lots of love to you both- Izzie x
Hi smiley faces 😊😊sommetimes if your gas bottle is getting low it can smell horrible ..beatiful song izzie ..love seeing you both ..you make me smile and make me cry ..have a great week
Love your vlogs, beautiful music. Regarding the gas; we had similar few mths ago, for about a week I kept smelling rotting veg. Turned out to be a leaky gas cylinder. You can easily check this my mixing up some soapy water, pour it over the connector, if it bubbles, it's leaking. This can sometimes be fixed by putting vaseline on the thread, acts like a seal.
Good evening, Izzie and Ciara. I am so happy to see that my two favorite waterborne adventurers are doing so well. Izzie, I am a fan of Laura Marling, so you had me listening intently to your singing this week. Your cover was wonderful. I am looking forward to being able to access more of your music. Ciara, I am becoming fascinated by your work in the theater and that you were able to hop from one job here in the states to one in London so quickly. My son is visiting this week, so Jodi and I are feeling the joy and comfort of having him home. I hope that you both have a week full of love and warmth as well. As always, love one another. Love from Ohio, Tim
Hi Tim! Hope you had a wonderful week with your son, so happy to hear you are enjoying the comfort of having him home. I love Laura Marling, I have listened to her music since I was a teenager- I think she is a real wonder when it comes to lyrics and definitely an inspiration to my own composing. I will try and persuade Ciara to film a bit more of her work, I also really love learning more about everything that goes on in the backstage theatre world. Love to you in Ohio! - Izzie x

Such a great job of breaking down your costs of living on a narrow boat! Thank you - really interesting to hear about even though I will never be directly affected (not too many canals in Australia, also I think I'm a bit old for it now 😯😁) If I ever make it back for some short-term navigating on the waterways of Old Blighty I'll have my soundtrack ready to go 👍 I feel Izzie's music would be an essential part of the experience now ❤ Without wishing to be too nosey, is Bandcamp a better option for songwriter/performers than, say, streaming over Spotify? Hello! Hope you are doing well! Glad it was still interesting even if you aren't considering narrowboat life soon! Some short term navigation might be nice, where would you like to explore? Bandcamp is far better- with Spotify (which I do have my music up on) is $0.003-$0.005 per stream of one of my songs, which makes it hard to make a living off being a musician if that makes sense! Bandcamp you get to keep most of the money that comes in from the sales, which makes things more achievable for me. Postage/Packaging does eat into that but I still make enough. Unfortunately the weather has been so bad here lately, quite chilly and very rainy so not very summery! Our indoor seedlings didn't thrive- not enough light and the courgettes just died one died who knows why- we will have to try again next year! - Izzie x

Was your diesel costs after the rise? as I think its not high, in comparison to our spend when we have a 2 weekly cruise and have a log burner, in March and October times. Happy cruising xx
Evening Susan! Glad you enjoyed the video! Our diesel costs were just from this last winter gone, maybe we were just lucky! Hello! I have a question: what is the purpose of the pin that fits into the tiller arm. Best I can tell, is doesn’t join two pieces of the tiller arm together - or does it?I’m very curious to know what it’s for. Lovely episode by the way, as per usual. Cheers!
Hi Bill, from our understanding it just holds the tiller arm in place while you are cruising, so you don't pull it off! Thanks so much, hope you have a wonderful week - Izzie x
Hello! I think my music is on Amazon music, I had a check this music and I can see it up there- can you not see it if you search Izzie Winter? Let me know and I will do some investigating. Have a great week- Izzie x
Hi just get a spray bottle and fill it with soapy water, then spray it over the gas valve if it bubbles continuously then you have to tighten the valve nut simples! :) RCR have really over priced themselves, in my oppinion not worth the money.
@@IzzieandCiara If you look in the bottom of the gas locker you will see a hole. Thats the drain hole so if there is a gas leak in there it is taken out the boat so don't worry to much. Gas falls down it doesn't rise up it's heavier than air.
Came for the narrowboats, stayed for the personalities and music! x

I know they upload twice a week and then did patreon, but Ben and Emily did etsy and music, I think theres definitely ways to make it work financially that might take the sting out. I mean it's still better then renting. Slow life is so appealing. But whatever you do, you both have jobs. This was a really nice upload. I'm looking forward to the CD. Xx
Hi Sam! You're right there are so many different ways to make it work financially, still sort of navigating what that will look like for us. Thanks for another lovely comment- Izzie x
@IzzieandCiara you're welcome my loves xxxx
@@IzzieandCiara, ah! Clarity is a wonderful thing! Thank you! You two have a wonderful week as well!
I wish Amazon Music would pick up your music Izzy. That way i could have your music as part of my playlists!
Hello! I think my music is on Amazon music, I had a check this music and I can see it up there- can you not see it if you search Izzie Winter? Let me know and I will do some investigating. Have a great week- Izzie x
@@IzzieandCiara Oh! It's there! I think I was spelling your first name with a Y instead of IE, and getting a different artist. 💜
Love your bag, where is it from? ❤
If you mean the colourful green and yellow rucksack, it’s from Lucy and Yak! - Ciara x
@@IzzieandCiara yes it’s amazing thank you - loved the video as always you guys are fantastic ❤️❤️❤️

Early days of Kate Bush nice voice Xx
Thank you Edward! Have a lovely week xx
Hi just get a spray bottle and fill it with soapy water, then spray it over the gas valve if it bubbles continuously then you have to tighten the valve nut simples! :) RCR have really over priced themselves, in my oppinion not worth the money.
Hello! We will give this a try today just to double check that everything is as it should be. Thanks so much! - Izzie x
@@IzzieandCiara If you look in the bottom of the gas locker you will see a hole. Thats the drain hole so if there is a gas leak in there it is taken out the boat so don't worry to much. Gas falls down it doesn't rise up it's heavier than air.
:)
❤️
how old are you two? you only look about 16!
They are both older than they look 😂. (Izzie’s mum here)
@@NicoleWinter-gp9ni i should hope so. if i was their parent id be worried sick about them. 😕
Izzie here- I've been living independently for 6 years now- I don't think my Mum has much to worry about now! We are both nearing our mid twenties.
Grandma trusts them too. 👍
