I hear so many people raving about Lash Paradise and I honestly can't get into it! It smudged like crazy and flaked and dried out in a flash! However the Loreal carbon black is absolutely unbeatable for me no matter what else I try! Love this series! 😘
I liked it for a while. Then it absolutely ruined my lashes, besides while most mascaras get better after a week or two, Paradise has the right consistency when new and then dries and flakes. The wand I like, but after loving it for a week, I ended up hating it when it caused my eyelashes to break.
I like the CoverGirl Clump Crusher, Lash Blast Fusion, & Lash Exhibitionist, Mabelline Full & Soft, & L'Oreal Lash Paradise. I like soft, clump-free, defined lashes. I hate clumps. I like them to be lengthened & defined with some extra volume. I ONLY use waterproof mascara bc I'm super oily and have hooded eyes. If I don't, I get all kinds of smudging. The CG Exhibitionist is very wet and too much product ends up on the brush, so I always have to scrape it off on the edge of the tube and then it's perfect. Lash Blast Fusion is great bc you can layer it wet or dry and it doesn't get clumpy but gives good volume, a bit of length, & definition. So you can do 1-2 coats for a more natural look, or really layer them on for more dramatic looks.
@@corralove28 that's so weird to me because my eyes are also hooded, and I've never had the problem. I have noticed if I spray on finishing spray after applying mascara, I have a bit of smudge, but I just spray now, dry, then apply the mascara.
I love Mascara Revolution. It is very similar to Lash Paradise but more volumizing, affordable, and doesn't dry out quickly like LP. Definitely must try if you like thick formula for ever-so-slightly clumpy lashes.
I would love to see a tinted moisturizer category! I stopped wearing makeup in August to clear my skin once I started seeing a dermatologist, but it would be nice to have some coverage without breaking me out. 🥰
I don’t understand why everyone loves the L’Oréal Lash Paradise, it just didn’t work for me. But I’m glad it does for so many others! My favorite drug store mascara is Maybelline Falsies and/or the ULTA Curled Up Mascara. It’s gluten free so I like it a lot. It really does curl your lashes and add length and volume. For high end mascara, anything Tarte is great! As for another drug store mascara, I also like Cover Girl Lash Blast and also the one in the blue tube. Wonderful video, very informative! Well done! The new Covergirl is my new favorite...above Lash Paradise! (And that had been my all time favorite.) I find it a bit more wet than the Lash Paradise, so it lasts a bit longer. My only complaint with the Lash Paradise is how quickly it dries out and needs to be replaced. I DO need waterproof mascara that can last though tough workouts, so staying power is my biggest tell, and the new Covergirl just completely impressed me!
I have the Nyx on the rise mascara and it is my go to mascara that I love. I also carry them in my middle console in my car because mascara is something that I almost always forget to put on before I go to work.

i love the essence you better work volume and curl mascara. it's black, it's long lastin, does not flake... and its very natural looking, which i like... i've never tried 2 coats of it but i think it could be built up if you want more drama. there is a volume and lenght one as well, i never tried it cause i wear glasses and lenghtening mascaras don't work for me, but i heard it's good as well.
I am also a fan of many of the same mascaras as Allie and lately have tried some higher-end mascaras like the Better Than Sex and Milk Makeup Kush, but I always go for waterproof formulas. I just recently tried the Essence Lash Princess False Lash Effect with the blue writing (for waterproof) and I was blown away at its staying power. It takes a little more building-up (extra coat) than the L'Oreal Voluminous and has a skinnier wand, but the stuff just will NOT budge and it is a bit more difficult to remove. I just recently got the Essence Volumizing Lash Primer (white tube) to try under it. I'm a huge fan of the L'Oreal Voluminous lash primer and also the Milk makeup Kush one (I bought the trial-sized in the black tube). I think a lash primer gives you a great foundation for your mascara and if you ever like wearing bright-coloured mascaras, the white base it creates on your lashes really makes the colours pop--- heck, it even does that with brown and black mascaras, to be honest. For under $5 a tube for the Essence products, I don't think you'd be disappointed; I myself was pleasantly surprised.
The colourpop bff is my favorite. I used to not really care all mascaras felt basically the same instead of volume its's straight to spider legs. But I tried this. And now I have three different shades (black,brown,and blue) and i will probably always buy more. Also you're lashes are awesome and just have inspired me to do like at least 3 coats a day lately. And I think it would be cool if you did a most repurchased makeup prep, primers,and skincare. For me its the elf lip scrub lip stick in coconut. Anyways love your videos. (sorry for the paragraph)
Hands down I only ever use loreal telescopic. I have used high end and still come back to this one, it is just amazing if you have thin lashes that you want to show length.
Have you tried the Essence Volume Stylist with microfibers mascara?? It’s one of my faves and makes me eye lashes super long. I wore it on my sisters wedding to emulate false lashes.
I LOVE huge, long, voluminous lashes, but I don't wear falsies normally. I am 50 yrs old and my lashes have become thinner and more resistant to holding their curl. I always curl mine and have trouble finding the right mascara that will hold curl and make them look full and long. I recently discovered Rimmel's Scandaleyes Retro Glam mascara in extreme black. The cost is under $5 and it works great! Does all the things I want it to. I've never heard it talked about on anyone's channel. Oh well...
I have both of the Loreal mascaras in my makeup bag and I love them both. I have a Clinique mascara also but I am not very happy with it. It seems to pull the curl out of my lashes. Thanks Allie!
The L’Oreal Lash Paradise mascara is a good one, but you honestly have to try the Essence Lash Princess mascara (black and green packaging - not the black and orange, or black and purple). I swear it is the best mascara out there, makes my lashes look as if I've got false lashes on! And it's super affordable as well, only a couple $, so I'm sure that it can fit almost everyone's budget 🥰
I've tried so many other mascaras but the ELF mineral mascara (in purple box) is amazing! Every time I wear it I always am complimented on my lashes. Added bonus- it's $3!
My favorite is the Volum Express Colossal 100% black from Maybelline. I usually like the L'óreal mascaras but the Paradise just doesn't work for me longer than a week, no matter how much I tried 🤷♀️ I will definitely try the Colourpop mascara!
Perfect timing as I am currently looking for a new drugstore mascara. I have been a major fan of L’Oréal voluminous lash paradise. My only complaint with it has been that a tube of it seems to not last as long as other mascaras. A month maybe. And towards the end it starts flaking upon application. I love the full effect though and want something similar. I have short, thin lashes that need all the help they can get! Sounds like you have a good list of ones to try! Thanks!

I was a bit sceptical about the Nyx On The Rise Lift-Scara, but I love it! It's everything that Allie says it is. I require curl, separation, and volume, and I get it with this mascara. I also love the Nyx Worth The Hype mascara. It gives me feathery lashes that still have curl and volume. It's a terrific everyday mascara that also comes in different colors. I'm loving the brown shade right now. It also comes in a waterproof formula if that's what you need. Neither mascara smudges or flakes on me. Cheers! ~Anastacia in Cleveland
I use to use lash paradise a few years ago but it was extra messy/ clumpy on me and the formula dries out faster than my other mascaras. My favorite rn is thrive cosmetics ( I know it's not drug store). My favorite drugstore mascara at the moment is L'Oréal original w/ the curved brush!!
I like Essence mascaras! Mostly I buy the one in orange packaging... not sure what the name is. And from new mascaras, I just got a new L’Oreal Bambi mascara and I love it.
I bought Lash Paradise 2 weeks ago, started using it last week. It is my absolute favorite. I have SO many, but this is my favorite. I'm a lot older than you and my eyelashes have become skimpy. This mascara makes a tremendous difference. I do use an eyelash curler too because I need it. Thank you for your time and all of your great videos!

Those are my drugstore favorites! High end I love: Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara, Tarte 4 in 1 Lights, Camera mascara and Clinique High Drama mascara.
@@kelseyc9137 when I first bought it I didn't really like it. I used it 2 or 3 times and I thought it was just ok. Well then it sat in my make up drawer at least a week, probably closer to two, and I decided to give it another try. It was amazing! It was almost like it needed to "thicken" up or something after it was opened. I've bought a second tube and I used that once with other mascara and then let it sit for a week. And same thing - it is a great mascara!
I love Lash Paradise and recently tried, and loved, the CoverGirl Exhibitionist based on Allie’s recommendation. Based on the comments here, I need to try Essence mascaras.
Many of my faves as well. I think it would have been helpful for you to show each of these on your eyes. Something like one eye bare and one eye with the mascara.

The Flower beauty warrior princess is also really good! I have a thing for the hourglass shaped wands, they work the best on my lashes.

I bought the Exhibitionist mascara based on your suggestion in a previous video & I couldn’t be more happier with it! I was paying $24+ for the Lancôme Monsieur Big mascara & I totally feel the Exhibitionist is just as good, if not better!
I like the Tarte Maneater mascara, and it gets better as it ages! It's a spiky wand, which I don't normally go for, as my lashes are short, but it makes them look great!
I used to like the Hard Candy Bold mascara but as it ages, it has gotten sooo clumpy it is hard to work with. This video came at the perfect time since I need a new one!

The Loreal Voluminous is my go to and has been for years!!!! I was surprised to find out Mario used it a while ago. I will use the Loreal butterfly lash as a base because I love how the spiky brush on the mascara combs through and spreads out the lashes. Then go over with the Voluminous in carbon black a couple times. Often I'll grab the regular mascara and then seal with waterproof. I've tried so many other kinds and nothing has ever beat the Loreal Voluminous. I am interested to try the first one you showed though. So I will try it out. I go for the same look you do.

Awe I was hoping you were going to mention the Green Essence Mascara. That has quickly become my Favorite Glam Mascara Of both high end and drugstore. I use on a daily basis the L’Oréal in the Gold Fat container I love the applicator wand. Omg and the L’Oréal with the bendy wand.
I've been on the hunt for the perfect mascara. Right now I'm trying Maybelline The Falsies mascara, and I like the lengthening it give me, and the buildablity.. But it's a very *wet* formula. The last one I tried was Physicians Formula Organic Wear Natural Origin Jumbo Lash mascara. Everyone raves about it but it transferred so much onto my eye lids. So far my favourite is Benefit's Roller-Lash but it's a bit too expensive for me. (Sometimes I'll get the travel size.)
How do your lashes stay up? I have long lashes too but I need to curl them and every single mascara (except lash paradise) straightens my lashes! Curling over them will make them clump up. I’ve been thinking about doing a “permanent” lash curl but I’d rather my mascara just doesn’t flatten my lashes /: I use Lash Paradise but Ive recently switched because they always smudge to under my eyes by the end of the day. I use Thrive now but they definitely flatten my lashes

I have long lashes too, so I go for volumizing mascara as well. I like Essence in "I ❤ Extreme ", in the black tube with pink lettering. I didn't care for their lash princess volumizing, it didn't give me the volume like the other one does. I also like *Maybelline Colossal. I'll have to try that brown from Colourpop!

Have you tried the Maybelline Lash Sensational in the pink tube? I have the waterproof formula and that's a really nice and affordable one, the wand is shorter and slightly curved but silicone, and it has a bit more of a natural effect, separates lashes really well, and you can build it for more drama.
I find the L'Oreal Lash Paradise to be really similar to the Covergirl Exhibitionist, but the Exhibitionist is a LOT easier to remove. I have to use the waterproof version of Lash Paradise to keep it from flaking through the day and it is very difficult to completely remove. Prefer the Exhibitionist for that reason--regular version doesn't flake or smudge and it's easy to remove while giving pretty much the same overall results on the lashes.
@@erinescence2095 I've noticed the Carbon Black shade of L'Oreal Voluminous, even in waterproof still tends to make smudges on my upper lid and under the lower lashline. Sometimes I wonder if the different shades have slightly different formulas and if some are messier than others as well.
I think you should have a video this holiday season where you tell us makeup on your Christmas wish list or what makeup we should put on our wish list, especially if it is a must have and more expensive. It's hard to find those big ticket items that are also fantastic products. You could even do a drugstore and a high end makeup wish list. I would love this!
For some reason the hourglass type of brush doesn’t work for my eyelashes. I don’t know if I’m using it wrong but Lash Paradise formula doesn’t work for me and I think it’s the brush shape. I have pretty long eyelashes that are fluffy but not too full. Any tips on how to use this mascara would be great as it does not smudge which is awesome and rare for me. 😊

I've realized Allie's lashes look amazing no matter what she uses but still I'm glad she mentioned my favorite L'Oreal Voluminous Carbon Black, I'm about to crack into the waterproof version bc waterproof mascara holds the curl better in my lashes. Another good mascara that I never hear anyone talk about is also from the Dollar General and it's made by Wet'n' Wild Megalength mascara in a long thin purple tube. Has anyone else tried this mascara and if so how did you like it? I love it, I've been using it for 3 years.
I looooooove lash paradise. I used to really love L’Oréal telescopic just for lengthening but I only wear waterproof mascara and I haven’t been able to find the waterproof formula in stores by me in YEARS.
People don't sleep on the Milani Highly Rated mascara it gives you amazing volume & length too. 1 or 2 coats does the job & it DOESNT flake, it's similar to loreal lash paradise but gives you more volume without looking clumpy.
Saw this at Kohl’s and was curious. Glad to hear from someone who’s used it. The drugstores around me don’t carry BH, but my Kohl’s does. Plus they’re great about returns for any reason.

REVISION INTELLASHADE SPF 50 original, you will love it. The matte is to drying in my opinion.
I have been loving the NYX On the Rise mascara, it helps my lashes stay up after curling, and keeps them fluttery and NOT clumped or stuck together.

The L’Oreal Lash Paradise mascara is a good one, but you honestly have to try the Essence Lash Princess mascara (black and green packaging - not the black and orange, or black and purple). I swear it is the best mascara out there, makes my lashes look as if I've got false lashes on! And it's super affordable as well, only a couple $, so I'm sure that it can fit almost everyone's budget 🥰
I've tried so many other mascaras but the ELF mineral mascara (in purple box) is amazing! Every time I wear it I always am complimented on my lashes. Added bonus- it's $3!

My favorite is the Volum Express Colossal 100% black from Maybelline.
I usually like the L'óreal mascaras but the Paradise just doesn't work for me longer than a week, no matter how much I tried 🤷♀️ I will definitely try the Colourpop mascara!

Perfect timing as I am currently looking for a new drugstore mascara. I have been a major fan of L’Oréal voluminous lash paradise. My only complaint with it has been that a tube of it seems to not last as long as other mascaras. A month maybe. And towards the end it starts flaking upon application. I love the full effect though and want something similar. I have short, thin lashes that need all the help they can get! Sounds like you have a good list of ones to try! Thanks!
Soap & Glory's Thick & Fast HD Mascara. I don't have a lot of lashes and this is the first mascara that I can say I completely love! It doesn't clump, applies easy, and isn't messy. It is amazing stuff!! I get compliments every time I use it. It's my Ride or Die

I was a bit sceptical about the Nyx On The Rise Lift-Scara, but I love it! It's everything that Allie says it is. I require curl, separation, and volume, and I get it with this mascara. I also love the Nyx Worth The Hype mascara. It gives me feathery lashes that still have curl and volume. It's a terrific everyday mascara that also comes in different colors. I'm loving the brown shade right now. It also comes in a waterproof formula if that's what you need. Neither mascara smudges or flakes on me. Cheers! ~Anastacia in Cleveland
loreal lash paradise, and essence black tube green writing are my favorite drugstore mascaras.
I use to use lash paradise a few years ago but it was extra messy/ clumpy on me and the formula dries out faster than my other mascaras. My favorite rn is thrive cosmetics ( I know it's not drug store). My favorite drugstore mascara at the moment is L'Oréal original w/ the curved brush!!

I bought Lash Paradise 2 weeks ago, started using it last week. It is my absolute favorite. I have SO many, but this is my favorite. I'm a lot older than you and my eyelashes have become skimpy. This mascara makes a tremendous difference. I do use an eyelash curler too because I need it. Thank you for your time and all of your great videos!
L’Oréal False Lash X Fiber Xtreme is THE BEST drugstore mascara if you are looking for both volume and crazy length. It is amazing!!!

From the drug store I LOVE Milani Highly Rated mascara!! It is my holy grail - drugstore OR high end. I also use Essence Lash Princess False Effect.
Those are my drugstore favorites! High end I love: Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara, Tarte 4 in 1 Lights, Camera mascara and Clinique High Drama mascara.

@@kelseyc9137 when I first bought it I didn't really like it. I used it 2 or 3 times and I thought it was just ok. Well then it sat in my make up drawer at least a week, probably closer to two, and I decided to give it another try. It was amazing! It was almost like it needed to "thicken" up or something after it was opened. I've bought a second tube and I used that once with other mascara and then let it sit for a week. And same thing - it is a great mascara!
I love Lash Paradise and recently tried, and loved, the CoverGirl Exhibitionist based on Allie’s recommendation. Based on the comments here, I need to try Essence mascaras.

I loveeee voluminous dark lashes (mine are naturally dark blonde). I love the covergirl exhibitionist, definitely my favorite in the drugstore right now. The Flower beauty warrior princess is also really good! I have a thing for the hourglass shaped wands, they work the best on my lashes.

I like the Tarte Maneater mascara, and it gets better as it ages! It's a spiky wand, which I don't normally go for, as my lashes are short, but it makes them look great!

I used to like the Hard Candy Bold mascara but as it ages, it has gotten sooo clumpy it is hard to work with. This video came at the perfect time since I need a new one!
NYX On The Rise gives me false lash look 1 coat. I've tried soooo many drugstore & high end; for me this is the best and the price is fabulous!

The Loreal Voluminous is my go to and has been for years!!!! I was surprised to find out Mario used it a while ago. I will use the Loreal butterfly lash as a base because I love how the spiky brush on the mascara combs through and spreads out the lashes. Then go over with the Voluminous in carbon black a couple times. Often I'll grab the regular mascara and then seal with waterproof. I've tried so many other kinds and nothing has ever beat the Loreal Voluminous. I am interested to try the first one you showed though. So I will try it out. I go for the same look you do.

Awe I was hoping you were going to mention the Green Essence Mascara. That has quickly become my Favorite Glam Mascara Of both high end and drugstore. I use on a daily basis the L’Oréal in the Gold Fat container I love the applicator wand. Omg and the L’Oréal with the bendy wand.
I've been on the hunt for the perfect mascara. Right now I'm trying Maybelline The Falsies mascara, and I like the lengthening it give me, and the buildablity.. But it's a very *wet* formula. The last one I tried was Physicians Formula Organic Wear Natural Origin Jumbo Lash mascara. Everyone raves about it but it transferred so much onto my eye lids. So far my favourite is Benefit's Roller-Lash but it's a bit too expensive for me. (Sometimes I'll get the travel size.)
Cover girl Exhibitionist mascara is amazing. I think it’s so underrated. It’s whar I’m using now and love it.
How do your lashes stay up? I have long lashes too but I need to curl them and every single mascara (except lash paradise) straightens my lashes! Curling over them will make them clump up. I’ve been thinking about doing a “permanent” lash curl but I’d rather my mascara just doesn’t flatten my lashes /:

I have long lashes too, so I go for volumizing mascara as well. I like Essence in "I ❤ Extreme ", in the black tube with pink lettering. I didn't care for their lash princess volumizing, it didn't give me the volume like the other one does. I also like *Maybelline Colossal. I'll have to try that brown from Colourpop!
The Wet n Wild mascara in the green tube (called protein something) very affordable, smudge proof, 24 hour wear.
My fave is L'Oréal Telescopic mascara, oldie but goodie😊

Have you tried the Maybelline Lash Sensational in the pink tube? I have the waterproof formula and that's a really nice and affordable one, the wand is shorter and slightly curved but silicone, and it has a bit more of a natural effect, separates lashes really well, and you can build it for more drama.
I find the L'Oreal Lash Paradise to be really similar to the Covergirl Exhibitionist, but the Exhibitionist is a LOT easier to remove. I have to use the waterproof version of Lash Paradise to keep it from flaking through the day and it is very difficult to completely remove. Prefer the Exhibitionist for that reason--regular version doesn't flake or smudge and it's easy to remove while giving pretty much the same overall results on the lashes.
@@erinescence2095 I've noticed the Carbon Black shade of L'Oreal Voluminous, even in waterproof still tends to make smudges on my upper lid and under the lower lashline. Sometimes I wonder if the different shades have slightly different formulas and if some are messier than others as well.
L’Oréal lash paradise doesn’t work on me either! Smudges and kills any curl I have. I thought I was the only person in the world who didn’t love it 😆

I think you should have a video this holiday season where you tell us makeup on your Christmas wish list or what makeup we should put on our wish list, especially if it is a must have and more expensive. It's hard to find those big ticket items that are also fantastic products. You could even do a drugstore and a high end makeup wish list. I would love this!

For some reason the hourglass type of brush doesn’t work for my eyelashes. I don’t know if I’m using it wrong but Lash Paradise formula doesn’t work for me and I think it’s the brush shape. I have pretty long eyelashes that are fluffy but not too full. Any tips on how to use this mascara would be great as it does not smudge which is awesome and rare for me. 😊

I've realized Allie's lashes look amazing no matter what she uses but still I'm glad she mentioned my favorite L'Oreal Voluminous Carbon Black, I'm about to crack into the waterproof version bc waterproof mascara holds the curl better in my lashes. Hopefully I'll like it as much as I like the non waterproof.
Another good mascara that I never hear anyone talk about is also from the Dollar General and it's made by Wet'n' Wild Megalength mascara in a long thin purple tube.

I looooooove lash paradise. I used to really love L’Oréal telescopic just for lengthening but I only wear waterproof mascara and I haven’t been able to find the waterproof formula in stores by me in YEARS.
People don't sleep on the Milani Highly Rated mascara it gives you amazing volume & length too. 1 or 2 coats does the job & it DOESNT flake, it's similar to loreal lash paradise but gives you more volume without looking clumpy.
You definitely need to try Lash Warrior from Flower Beauty!
My current favorite is BH Stellar Lash, it makes my lashes so long and full! They almost look as good as yours when I wear it!
Saw this at Kohl’s and was curious. Glad to hear from someone who’s used it. The drugstores around me don’t carry BH, but my Kohl’s does. Plus they’re great about returns for any reason.
