Over the last few weeks, a chorus of voices have flagged their concerns about the regulatory and tax regime.
They argue that it is hurting the ease of doing business and incentivising India Inc to outsource abroad.
The big surprise was when the former revenue secretary Sanjay Malhotra warned the revenue department that tax overreach was threatening India’s growth story.
