Love, love R. D. Wingfield! Always a twist at the end of the story and a bonus of Heartbeat by Buddy Holly. Thank you!
You know with Wingfield it's going to be a good listen . Thank you.
Another excellent play thank you
That was wonderful, thank you.😊 loved that ending😂❤
Brilliantly acted by all of the cast. Pat Ashton was great in everything she food. Was amazing with Bill Maynard in ‘The Gaffer’.
That was delightful! Thanks for sharing with us.
I loved it. Nearly did listen because of the negative comments. If you have a sense of humour and are not PC it is very enjoyable
Different from Wingfield's usual genre. A highly enjoyable romp. Thank you.
Cheers for the upload! 😊
Great wee play
What a great cast.
Fabulous....Thank You...
An RD Wingfield is always something to look forward to.
I agree with those who think it was quite different from his usual work, and that the ending was disappointingly thin and stereotyped. Nonetheless, his talent for dialogue is always a pleasure.
He went on to write some of the BBC's greatest dramas, full of subtle emotion and well-prepared plot twists. This isn't one of them, but it's worth a listen.
Good 👍
Karma at the end. Funny.
I agree with most of the comments here and I’m only adding mine because of the two feeble ridiculous negative comments. Great fun play - the actors are great - my favourite Bob Hoskins and it’s always a treat to hear Heartbeat. Thank you ❤❤
Early days for all involved. The polish was soon to follow.
Wow, Bob Hoskins, I thought the voice sounded familiar. It must have been early in his career. An expat in Florida.
Bob Hoskins as Harry
A little off the beaten track for Wingfield, which explains the lack of comments.
Although far from the sophistication of his best work, it seems to have scared off the 'maiden aunt' element of this genre.
Shocking to hear how Harry spoke to Kitty, and how he treated her throughout this play.
😂😂😂😂

Wingfields comedy plays not so great
What an awful and rushed ending. Other than that, I was enjoying it. Complete garbage in conclusion all down to that last scene.
Definitely not the best Wingfield. Waste of time 😔
