Manners for Japanese Style Room ~Visiting Japanese “Washitsu” with tatami mats~

I had a tea in a traditional Japanese interior room.
It is winter. The Japanese garden outside of the house is covered with snow. This time we had a tea in the tatami mat room. The hospitality, the silence, “wabi-sabi” and the immutable beauty…. Please enjoy as if you were in this video.

Wouldn't it be wonderful to live like this and show such good manners to other people? I'd be completely hopeless at it though; I would get cramp kneeling like that because I'm not used to it, and I would be so nervous that I'd probably spill the tea!!! I would really love to try it and see how it goes. The most attractive thing would be showing great politeness and manners and just experiencing the tradition and culture. I really love all the rules and the etiquette. What a beautiful video, thank you so much for this.

@@user-ki3yj5mk6h Thank you for your kind reply. I would go to Japan for a visit, if my health was better. For the past two years I have been obsessed with the Japanese way of life. Where I live in The UK, there is not a chance of being able to experience anything similar to this! It is a harsh and rude culture here!!! The only place where I could really feel like this, is Japan; it is unique in this regard - there is nowhere else like it. Thank you again for taking the trouble of replying to me.

Thanks for the compliment on Japan. I have never been to England, but I heard from a friend that it is a wonderful country. It is one of the countries I would like to visit at least once!I heard that the British Museum has many masterpieces by my favorite Hokusai. I see that English people have long loved Japan.
