You should totally go to Canada in the spring to Jasper and Banff. It would be beautiful and a good first international trip since it is a short drive/flight and in your neighbouring country!

Look into Prince Edward Island! It's a tiny little island on the east coast of Canada. We have the best red sand beaches that are the warmest beaches North of the Carolinas in the summer! Lots of really great airbnbs that sit on the Atlantic Ocean, and you can drive across the island in a day if you want to hit all the major points
As someone who lives an hour from Banff in Calgary, the roads have been horrible this winter and it was -40 Celsius a week ago. A road trip in the winter would NOT be fun 🤣
