The difference kind of is self created assets. By technicality, brick bronze stole Pokémon copyrighted assets and used them while getting money, which is illegal.

Damn.. You know... there was this brick bronze copy which, was really special for me. It re-made the last gym, they built an entire island and made the gym type fairy and when you went inside you had to go trough a maze.. They even rebuilt, and added, some small towns to be inbetween routes. Damn, do I miss it.. It's probably deleted for the longest time, but, I just can't feel anything but sad when I remember all the good times I had on it..

@@bambel6760 that one didn't have codes. It was one where you had to work for your pokemon, not just, enter a code and POOF, you get a legendary. I think that's why the devs didn't update the game for a long time, the player base had 1k constantly but when these stupid code games arrived they were less and less, just because people were lazy. Plus, you can't even enjoy the battle colosseum when every noob has a rayquaza.

I kinda wished that in 2018, Instead of taking PBB down, nintendo could of done some type of deal with lando and his team where the game could still be up, but the game would be owned by nintendo or something similar to that. Look at what Sega did with Sonic Speed Simulator by making Sonic Speed Sim officially apart of the Sonic franchise and I believe it's helped the new sonic game, Sonic Frontiers, quite a bit.

It's a shame Brick Bronze got taken down, though it did break the copyright and it was fair for Nintendo to ask Roblox for it to be be deleted, it was the whole reason I got into Pokemon. I don't know if this is the same for other people, but either way, I still consider it an actual Pokemon game, not some knock off. RIP Brick Bronze. 😭
The thing is if we stayed quiet, Roblox didn’t have to put all these security measures to prevent Brick Bronze copies. I’ve seen plenty of Brick Bronze copies, but unfortunately all of them are trying to profit off their stolen game, which is exactly what gets the game banned in the first place.
And then there's brick bronze grand obsidian that went crazy with new effects and pokemon and some new strategies

@@nimteo the difference in brick bronze to most fan games was stolen assets. Which are illegal. Most fan games make their own assets, while brick bronze literally ripped the assets out of the Pokémon games and were making money off of it, which also wasn’t a normal fan game kind of thing.

Loomian Legacy is Technically a Legal Copy of PBB because it's Roria But in a Another Dimensions, They changed the name, they change Pokemon to Loomian to not get Copyrighted, They Change the Graphics and Change the Maps, Adding Different Pokemons Than the original.
can confirm im playing a copy of pbb right now and while it gets banned its back up within an hour and saves everyones progress, and on top of that theyve added new content like the roria league. Overall, great experience 😂

The last memory I have of PBB was grinding money by fighting that one same npc in a desert like area and that by tomorrow I will have enough money to buy the mega stone for my Charizard, that was the last of it, just hearing the name PBB floods my mind with nostalgia, spent most of my time playing it cuz at that time it was one of the most advanced looking game in Roblox, still remember that time when DanTDM got the shiny Gengar

You see, copies like Bronze Nebula/Oddyseys are non-profit. Nabz, the developer, is reuploading them ONLY for player enjoyment. The gamepasses are kinda useless, as you can easly obtain items without buying so. AND, Nabz is actually updating the game, unlike other clones.
I don’t know much about business and copyright but surely if Nintendo would’ve taken a large profit of all the money made off brick bronze they’d have made way more money than if they didn’t just take it down and they wouldn’t need to do anything

Brick bronze was my childhood and I loved it. I was happy with serperior, battle bond greninja, cincinno, mega glalie, talonflame, and genesect but then it got taken down. At first I was mad because as a child I didn’t understand and was mad at Nintendo but now I realize that it’s ok. I would have preferred for it to not get taken down but stuff like that happens. They were technically using Nintendo owned creations and sprites which is illegal. I would love to play it again but not illegally. I think it is time to move on and some people just can’t accept that.
I wish that Nintendo and Roblox made a deal where Nintendo could have Roblox on there console ONLY if the Pokémon brick bronze game could be released again with no further problems. I hope Roblox realizes that a lot of people from Roblox only played for Pokémon brick bronze.
The other sad thing is that there are also no randomizers, so if you ever get bored of the original you could always just do a randomizer run

My friend makes 400-1m robux a week because he owns one of the most popular copies. Also they don't stay up because they try to "mask" the game they usually use teleporters in some innocent looking game while using bypasses and vpn's, i'm in a server full of the most popular PBB developers and i've experienced several actions of doxxing, threatening, etc because of some lego game, honestly PBB devs are rediculous when it comes to crimes and acts like they can do what they want.
