Once, a lady was sleeping on my seat. I politely let her know that it was my seat. She looked at me really frustrated and then called her husband and said " Suno na, Dekho yeh kya pareshaan kar rahi hai, baat karo isse", and went back to sleep. I was dumbstruck 😂

Ya same i was in a bus and it was 6 hrs long journey so i booked a seat alredy for me and an aunty was sitting there when i told her she behaved like its her seat and she is giving help to me like some place and all . I am a woman and a feminist and i 100% agree that this behaviour is unacceptable but people (which i am going to assume most of them are men ) casually mocking feminisn in the comments is not it! They seemed pretty oblivious to the fact that the seats were rightfully ours and hesitated to move even when the attendant arrived. Two weeks ago i was traveling in train, i went to washroom and a lady occupied my seat, i said it's my seat, she questioned then why did you leave your seat, i said i went to washroom, she replied you should inform before leaving😂
I have faced this multiple times (more than 8 times) where in the end as a girl I had to compromise and give them half of my seat for more than half of train's journey. Sometimes the journey is more than 28 hours.. imagine 😱😭

Once my train passed through bihar (begusarai route, guwahati delhi), I was happy that the compartment was almost vacant by looking at the booking sheet but I didn't know I booked seats for like 20 ppl with being squeezed between them in the upper berth
I usually travel alone and I always make sure that I reserve seat according to my comfort as I have to travel long distance. And this is the issue I always face. Some Aunty captures my seat and makes me sit near the smelly washroom that too between men. P.S I am a woman. To avoid sitting between men I always reserve seats in the aisle or window.

Exact incident happened with me, but TT ko muzehi bulana pda, TT ne usase paise lekar dusri seat di. Through out journey jamke gali di use or TT ko, unfortunately station jaldi aa gaya mera.

Once my train passed through bihar (begusarai route, guwahati delhi), I was happy that the compartment was almost vacant by looking at the booking sheet but I didn't know I booked seats for like 20 ppl with being squeezed between them in the upper berth

I usually travel alone and I always make sure that I reserve seat according to my comfort as I have to travel long distance. And this is the issue I always face. Some Aunty captures my seat and makes me sit near the smelly washroom that too between men. P.S I am a woman. To avoid sitting between men I always reserve seats in the aisle or window.
