MANAGERS ARE HEROES. They will take all the gifts. Inspect it. And IF ITS SAFE. Will usually return it to the idol. You don't see that part of it. Jin and Yoongi have said this. Also. It was probably a child that gave them the crown. The girls would want to follow protocol but also at least one of them would keep the gift while the child was around and could see so as to not make them feel bad. Felix and Bang chan have told is this numerous times in lives. Of course VLive is defunct so those lives are gone but there were numerous lives where idols went through their fan gifts and yes some of them told us the staff INSPECTS THEM FOR SAFETY.

Managers usually tell kpop idols to be careful with fan gifts as some toxic fans and stalkers can put tracking devices and cameras in them. For the tiaras specifically, there could have been something on them that could have damaged their hair. I think karina’s contract is different from the others. Like they can’t mistreat her or something unlike the other members where she said in an interview “I just signed it”. I think that’s what it is. That’s why she has more freedom. They do this for their safety to make sure there’s no hidden camera or anything that can hurt them on the presents. I just want to make it clear that they DO give them back, they are just taken to be checked. If it’s something that’s really hard to hide a camera in(like cat ears or something really thin) they let them keep them and that’s how we get pics of them still wearing headbands or something of the sort. Sometimes they take everything and give something back right away after checking it . TLDR; the manager just wants to keep them safe
