You sir ……. Are my hero 🤓
I know you hear it on here all the time but I gotta say thank you again for all these videos. I’ve been sitting and playing along with you all the time and just having a blast !! I’m 40, played a little as a teen but I was too impatient, so after getting back into it a couple months ago I had got myself a cheap Jackson last year which just sat around not being used, then I looked up a song we both know and love 😉, Friends from Zeppelin III. Saw your videos (PT and JJ) and watching you play it and listening to your advice gave me so much inspiration !! I’ve been playing almost daily now since. It’s so much fun just watching you play and listening to your approach and great stories! Honestly I don’t even play along w the band videos, I have more fun playing along with you! So I just wanted to say thank you again and your videos are totally awesome!! 😎🤙🏼

I've been waiting for quite awhile for a lesson on this song.... I can sit back and listen to Zeppelin 3 all day. I never gets old. Love Pages playing. Without a doubt if not the best, one of the best of all time.

I am so glad I found your lessons again. I learned Cat Stevens "Here Comes My Baby" from you years ago and it was great! I have learned other tunes as well and when I came across your "last video" I began to despair until the JamesJames part.I have cancer and learning songs from you is a fun part of my day, even if I can't remember them to well. They call it chemo brain. Anyway not knowing you I can't say but I am generally a good judge of charecter and you seem like a real nice man. It is great what you do to help us hackers along. Now the bad news, I just realized I am typing a post that shows a picture of my wife. :)

Excellent! I'm a big Zep fan and saw them 'live' in 1975 at Earls Court (Row 4 with Pagey right in front of me. A bloody magician..dunno how he did what he did). My brother made it to Knebworth. Love your Tee-Shirt, "In Through The Out Door" etc. I loved this, so many thanks for de-mystifying it. Cheers!

PT: I just came across your last PT Video of Feb. 2015 wherein you discussed your reasons for "procedural change."
I wasn;t aware of your travails but like many I'm sure, I just wanted to thank you for all the great lessons you provided (at no cost!) to viewers and to say I'm very sorry you had to endure what you did. Guess it's true, "No good deed goes unpunished."
I thought you were terrific and very generous. I agree entirely with your take on the present social media "scene." It's depressing and scary. Thanks again and best to you and your family.

Every time I search specific to learn a rare tune... Alma Mater, the bendy lick in Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere, etc. you come up. So many good guitar players totally miss the details. But you play it like it is on the vinyl. Your guitar tone is phenomenal. But its more than that; the gear, the memorabilia in the bg-- the t's! Schwarz, Pierce and you Rule guitar communicating to the lesser bulbs. Glad ur out there.

I'm a self taught guitarist, I began over 30 years ago. No lessons, no mentor, no how to play guitar books. At the time I was riding bulls for a living. But I wanted to play like Jimmy Page. Still do. So, I was boots, spurs, big ass hat, and
Led Zeppelin. (Hey cowboy play us a tune!) Ok, shure. You can guess what they expect from a cowboy.
Tough shit, I play what I wanted.
You have helped me so much. Your method is relaxed and to the point. Hey that's my method! Thanks for being my mentor, any hour or day, your ready! Thanks.

The banjo part that Jimmy winged for this track isn't mentioned here, but he's referred to his banjo playing as "a cross between Pete Seeger, Earl Scruggs and total incompetence". No wonder that it was never used elsewhere, but it was perfectly appropriate for this track.
