Me and my friends went into this fight completely blind, one of my friends is a veteran but she purposefully kept herself blind to this fight. I was so excited after seeing the cutscene and couldn't wait to see its moveset. Then it did that move where it fills the arena with water and slammed down with an electrical explosion and killed all of us at the same time causing us to fail the quest and I gained fear and respect for this thing. If they had a turf war it would be a random outcome but only if namielle is charged up, otherwise amatsu wins. They'd probably fire waterbeams at eachother, and 50/50 either amatsu pushes harder and the water beam exlodes in namielles face, or namielle electrifies it's beam and explodes in amatsus face.

At least one of the creatures that Namielle is based on live in shallow waters rather than the deep. One of the animals that could have inspired the design of Namielle is a prehistoric salamander called diplocaulus, an amphibian from the Permian period. This salamander has a boomerang-shaped head, as you can see in Namielle as well. The "arrowhead gekkos" in mhwi are definitely based of diplocaulus. The dippy boi got a lot of love this year with pokemon SwSh's psuedo-legendairy dragon also taking inspiration from it. Honestly, this is the only reason I'm kinda disappointed by Namielle. I thought it'd be the final boss given the dramatic way they teased it, but it's just a regular (albeit slightly more powerful) Elder. It'd work so well as a Monster the same size as Xeno or KT. Mind you, I do think Shara is by far the best story final boss in the series, but I still feel that Namielle could've been so much more.

Or the misty peaks cave
That’s exactly what I want actually, I love that area!
I thought it would be a sectet area in Rotten Veil for some reason. Doesn't really make sense, but I got that vibe.
Slaking They never tease the final boss, so that should’ve been a big indicator already
Would love a Subnautica mod with Namielle's model.
"The Full power of the Abyss of the Sea all put into one Dragon. *You feel the pressures of The lower depths* "
I loved this fight and The design of this Elder Dragon is simply creative and marvelous.
Namielle is now on my top 3 list. Hope Nami get's an altered version of herself like Nergi Did.
I'm Thinking Ocean Floor Namielle.
Or a Namielle that live in a Rotten Vale and can control acid to attack us and change her thunder element into paralysis aliment
GetterZ TH Okay, calm down, Satan.
What about a lava themed nami?
@@getterzth6957 as awful as that’ll be to fight, a RV Namielle variant would be awesome
@@notalizard1946 Oo, Infernal Namielle? I like it
Am I the only one who hears a lot of Vaal Hazak in this theme?
Nope. This song does use the same chord progression as Vaal Hazak's theme.
Me toooo
@@bombshell361 I need to listen again, I haven't caught that!
It was composed by the same composer Akihiko Narita
Ah, yes, I remember Nam.
I still hear voices in the trees
It's the last few seconds of the theme that's the best.
From this kind of glowing monster, I expected rave
But this works too
No one:
This theme: "Next week on Namielle's Noir!..." 0:26
Imagine getting cool weapons from this guy this message has been brought to you by the charge blade gang
"Imagine getting weapons from this guy"
- this message has been brought to you by the great sword gang
@@itsboiya6948
Oh I just assumed you guys got the cool shit my bad😅
Imagine whenever you lvl 3 charge it does a mini version of his shockwave attack
A soundtrack a very different soundtrack than usual
Beatiful
1:18 DAMMMN
I like how she charges up her water attacks. You can hear her make a noise before she spits or blasts water at you. She does it in her roar too.
Namielle trying to usurp Chameleos and Vaal Hazak as my favorite mid tier Elder dragons... I can't choose between them... D:
This monster reminded me why the Coral Highlands are called that for a reason
octupus + jellyfish + angler fish + shrimp + electric eel + hammer head shark. pretty much they have combined the entire ocean.
The song that plays when I drop my phone in the bathtub
Impressive, Capcom made the music version of “Going to drown and trying to stay above water”
This brings new meaning to "under the sea."
Anyone else hear The Incredibles for a moment there
Thought so for a second as well
the slimy, slippery boi
Nami makes really cute noises uwu
0:49 Beautiful. 💖
Most people say it looks like a jellyfish or something, I say it looks more like a vampire squid
Actually sounds like a theme for a boss late in the story from some JRPG.
I got my PC just like Namielle. 850w PSU, liquid CPU cooling, and bunch of RGB fans. Perfect.
Why do I suddenly sense a bit of Vaal hazak in there
If you like the themes up and makes namis a bit faster the choruses fit together perfectly
I don't know if it's intentional or not, but the crescendo almost always coincides with Namielle's nova dive ability. Man, the sound of that attack is so good. Sound designers cooked hard in this game.
This song single-handedly catches everything watery weather can be
The electric sounds in the background is hunter getting hit by the FUCKING NOVA
Don’t know why but this gave me vibes on the gobul fights in 3u
I know right
The mouth shape look very similar
Was expecting this to sound similar to something like nakarkos but this works.
Namielle FIGHT!
Water Gun ✅
Hydro Pump ✅
Water Spout ✅
Thunder ✅
Eeh, I would go with Discharge over thunder.
When I went into this fight for the first time, I had no idea it could use electricity.
0:32 Best simple part of the theme to me!!!
Really hoping to see Namielle in the flooded forest in Rise
Fighting this guy with an Insect Glaive is a treat. One Acrobat to another, gracefully dancing and dueling to the death.
I like that Namielle has the look of both a manta ray and a jellyfish. It was a definite favourite of mine in Iceborne
1:02 1:14 my favourite
Sometimes In the background I hear a seal
