Where they are losing, they automatically start talking about cease fire. The usual stuff.

Perhaps we are yet to see a party emerging suggesting for peace while they are wiser and as they are winning.
The cessation of ego due to destruction, destitution, and poverty, the larger picture of world peace and God, and a desire to live in freedom, will induce that party to advocate for peace, for nothing holds them back🕊️

So this Ambassador comes from a country not restraining a military group launching rockets from the south of his country for months and now complains about retalliation of Israel in the typical arab way where every second sentence contains an exageration or a lie. Funny guy this on.

The Ambassador is unwilling to engage in honest conversation. He stated that the Lebanese army can control Hezbollah, which implies that he is complicit with their noncompliance of UN resolutions 1559 and 1701, then he blames Israel for Hezbollah's noncompliance and pleads for the resolutions (or one of them) to be enforced. This is a textbook example of why Lebanon is a failed state...

All this may be true. But I note that many in the Middle East, including Palestinians, cheered on Russian brutality and attempted genocide in Ukraine.
I have had many a 'discussion' which such people.
I have sympathy for those civilians suffering in Lebanon and Gaza, and anywhere else, but I note the utter double standards of many in the Arab world towards Ukranian suffering.
I note that Iran not only sent weaponry to Russia, but it also sent revolutionary guards to fire some of it from Ukranian territory.

now he is whining about the UN resolution 1701, that was voted 2006! which means 18!! years the Lebanese government failed to implement it, and finally Israel went in and implemented it and now he is crying? UN resolution 1701 says Hezbollah has to give up its arms and the Lebanese army has to retire back to the Litani river to create a buffer zone that no rockets can reach Israeli children in the North, but it is all the fault of Netanyahu, sure🤡 the other side starts a war and Netanyahu is the "obstacle to peace" because he fires back

When he didn't distance himself from Hezbollah, I lost interest. I'm not a fan of Netanyahu, but that doesn't automatically make the other side the good guys. The truth is that the Lebanese gov can't control Hezbollah and they are now trying to make themselves relevant again now that the bombing has started.
