Should Bahay stay with UP? Or join another UAAP School?
I want him to go to Ateneo or La Salle, mas perfect sana Ateneo.

If I were him I'd take my chances with DLSU. If Cagulangan is really eligible to play a final sesson, Im sure babalik yon to to try and raise his stock again after a somewhat mediocre performance in the finals. 3rd PG off the bench kalalabasan ni Bahay don unless he pulls a Tenorio or Cortez rookie year type season. These bluechip players of present are looking to play if not heavy minutes, at least have a regular spot in the rotaion on a contending team. Gives them the opportunity to showcase their talent to the scouts of the international leagues. Gone are the days where superstars are more than willing to play out all their eligible years without question. 2 yrs tops mga yan to try to make a name for themselves, catch the attention of the scouts and hopefully get offers kaya from the get go kailangan makaplacing agad. With Lasalle, fresh from winning a championship so automatic contenders. The team by default will attracts some form of attention bec of this. Interestingly the position he's vying will have multiple openings. Common knowledge that Evan Nelle was the only legitimate PG on that roster after Penny Estacio left mid preseason. At least 3 capable PGs will probably be selected i presume. The entry of several promising PGs next season allows Josh David to slide back to SG which we all know is his natural positon. He'll be competing with at least 3-4 other hopefuls but if he should trust his game and just go for it. Rubico, Alao and Alian are no scrubs but Alian is the only one who I think is a pure PG and personally, I'd say Bahay can take him out. Rubico and Alao can be more competitive but the good news is those two are combo guards. That allows Lasalle the option to replace players from the last roster who rarely saw minutes or performed the least with some of these rookie hopefuls who are able to play multiple positions notably the 1 and 2. That shake up gives him more than enough opportunity to play for that starter position. For Ateneo, we all know its usually a very good choice, but for a team that's sort of rebuilding, and their ability to contend in question after the unfortunate departure of players which ironically WERE the ones expected to be leading this team to some kind of success. I mean, talk about leaving you high and dry. To pin his hopes on the chance that Amos and Coon and himself could form a magical trio and make a run for the championship would be unrealistic even with a great coach like tab. Not with the kind of teams thay are going up against. Siguro pwedeng final 4. possible pero if you can join a team with a legit chance at the title while having the opportunity to put your stamp as a key contributor and premier PG of the league, that shoud trump any rebuild scenario. Also, players of this caliber (bahay), probably feel that the added 2 years of high school already robbed them of too much off their shelf life as adult basketball players. Would be better off to stick with UP and bet on himself to battle it out with JD and Janjan for those minutes knowing JD will be gone in a year.

Ateneo will be a perfect fit. Ateneo, as we repeatedly said, that they lack a solid PG. If he goes to La Salle, medyo perfect din, however DLSU has a lot of good guards like Rubico, Alao, Alian, and maybe DJ Mitchell. Bahay will be a good fit for La Salle pero the names that I mentioned could affect their chances of getting major minutes. But I hope he can decide as early as he can. Did those guys you mentioned played WITH Bahay while they're still playing Ateneo de Cebu? Coz if yes, then might as well removed that as a special factor since parang most schools have an ADC alumni. All we know is Asoro and Celis are ADC alumni who were Bahay's actual close players in HS and are now is ADMU players.
