We can condemn Ak and we can also condemn those on streets as well like Nba youngboy and Lil Durk. We as a community need to stop glorifying and/or participating in such horrifying things this stuff only puts us in a negative light and is only destroying our communities. And the fact that this is now considered normal shows how much work there still needs to be done. Also their level of savagery and lack of consideration for their fellow man only encourages whether it be intentionally or not for people like Ak to make fun of their predicament.

What Vic is saying is 100% real. I'm from the burbs of chicago so I'm not even involved in the Chiraq or drill scene at all, but when I saw the video AK made about Tray 57, I got pissed off about it too. AK being from Jamaica and moving to NY, nowhere even near Chi, and making videos of himself acting like he knows the reasons behind the killings in Chiraq is bogus as fuck. As Vic said, it's like he makes fan-fiction about a scene he doesn't know anything about and tries to get people to follow him on it.
It's like if your best friend were to get shot dead and I was to make a video from the other side of the country acting like I know all the facts behind it and telling people in your neighborhood that they need to just "learn" to stop fucking with the person who killed your best friend.
Vic ain't butthurt, he's putting AK in his place, and if AK would understand what Vic's saying and simply agree or apologize or some shit, then Vic wouldn't have even gone on about it as long as he did. AK kept pushing the topic cause he's too salty to admit that he was wrong about making those videos.
Joe was smart for not stepping in. Joe knew AK fucked up with those videos and decided to leave it up to AK to realize his mistakes while talking to Vic without straightup piping up and siding with Vic. And if Joe did verbally side with Vic, y'all probably woulda been calling him even more of a bitch, so it was in his best interest to just keep quiet.

Three things I've learned from watching this video:
1) Vic Mensa is a goofy (as Rico Recklezz stated in "Hit Em' Up".)
2) Akademiks did a great job maintaining his composure (I'm really impressed with the level of professionalism displayed.)
3) Joe Budden came off as very disloyal. He did absolutely nothing to defuse the situation but instead attempted to add fuel to the fire.

I will now provide the best opinion.
Vic Mensa has a right to call out DJ Akademiks. He however, looked really stupid doing it. The murders in Chicago, are over petty issues most of the time. Imagine your friend, taking your phone charger and not giving it back on time, then you shoot him. Petty, no? If someone wants to capitalise on stupidity, then let them. If you do not want Akademiks to make money, then stop killing each other over issues that do not matter.
Joe Budden has a vendetta against Akademiks and is slowly plotting to destroy his brand and name, collecting people who do not like him and going against him. It's business, but it's also sad.
Behind the smokes and mirrors, I think that Vic did this to gain publicity, notice how he was not looking at Akademiks while he was talking to him, he was constantly looking around to see if the other co-hosts were agreeing with his point of view. It was sad to look at.
People that are saying Complex did not script it. I will not insult your intelligence, by believing that you actually believe that. They are sprinkling in guests that do not like Akademiks In the slightest, skewing our image of him. By the end of the show, you have probably seen every guest that does not like Akademiks.
Once his image, Brand and reputability have been tarnished, then Complex may well just fire him or keep him as a pawn.
Akademiks, I am neutral when I say this. Leave complex and work on building your brand yourself, with each show your reputation is slowly being chipped at.

How would you feel if you have friends and family dying and you see videos of someone that people are telling you are making jokes about the situation and then you have to sit face to face with them.
Complex is not "sprinkling in guests" that do not like Ak, its just the fact that he has pissed off half of the rap industry with his videos so it would be very difficult to skip that many people. It would be like if the head of TMZ did a show like this but they couldnt interview people they did a bad story about. And if you believe that this show is attempting to defame Ak than you probably have a problem formulating your own opinions.
