Beautiful Super Stunner watch! I love the complication style dial. The seconds barbershop type coloring design so it's easier to look at the contrasting dial, amazing. The bracelet is silky smooth, tapering all the way down to 15mm with a pin strip on the clasp. And the movement view! Only one con, I do wish the clasp was a bit longer for more step adjustments like my Mark 2. Today I'm wearing my Seiko SARB Salmon mod watch.

Easily one of the best watches of 2021!
As are the Seamaster 300 & new Speedmaster Professional.
    Fabulous review!
    Thank you!

Omega amp 300 on a ploprof mesh bracelet. Cool looking, durable, sharp and comfortable. I ha a 7.75”wrist.
Tried this chronoscope on at omega boutique and found the bracelet taper too small for weight of watch. Well made, beautiful piece, just out of balance for me.

Exactly...to busy I agree. Do like the red/white seconds hand. My opinion is I prefer last weeks review of the Seiko Speedtimer SSC over this Omega. Got the Panerai Luminor Marina PAM00048 on today. Why cause my Omega SM 38 has yet to arrive. Week 5 of 6-8 wks backlog.

FYI- the tachymeter is unitless and only indicates number of units per hour. It is accurate in kph, MPH, and any other units per hour such as "widget per hour" in a factory.

Cool Chronoscope and microadjust, but I smiled most for the Goldeneye and Final Fantasy nods.

By the way, about that PULSE meter, just as easy to count the pulsations for 30 seconds and double it for the x/min pulse. So no need for the ‘meter’ - and the thelemeter: just as easy to count the seconds of the lightning-thunder gap and divide by 3 - sound moves 1/3 of a km/sec, so a 3 second gap means the lightning is 1 km away («kilometer», just get used to it). )

So, «Omega didn't invent these complications -- they just compiled them into one piece!», you replied. And thereby you merely repeat the problem: they compiled, out of a total of 3, 2 that are UTTERLY unnecessary, two annoyingly unnecessary sets of metering-curves, unnecessary for the reasons I stipulated, and you then find it relevant that these scales exist in society independantly of Omega, and find that we ought not mock Omega for putting these two utterly unnecessary scales on the dial of a speedmaster. ha ha ha. Come on.

Thank you for sharing! Perhaps these complications were relevant in 1950 when the nearly identical piece that this is a homage to was created #2279-2.

So, the two dial-occupying gadgets (tele- and pulse-) are useless GIMMICS, ANNOYING, DESTROY A good thing. - this is in reference to the previous comment: (By the way, about that PULSE meter, just as easy to count the pulsations for 30 seconds and double it for the x/min pulse. Two reasons for NOT buying this watch: the ugly hands and the messed up dial. Say no more.

MADE IN CHINA is 'what it is' when china-produced parts are 'assembled in Switzerland'. Swiss law has NO COMMAND over the language itself, Swiss or English, so over "50% of the watch's value deriving from Switzerland" (LAW), satisfied by the mere minute long 200 Euro/hr act of Swiss workers ASSEMBLING the china-parts, DOESNT make it "made in Switzerland", nor "Swiss made", which makes the WHOLE THING A DAMNED LIE, FRAUD. "Sharp edges" on the case and the bracelet, some say, and I beleive them. Not buying the damn thing. Listen up, watch-guys and -gals.
