Looks great Spencer… regarding this being in a bathroom… we’ve got a product here by the name of Polyvine varnish. Comes in dead flat, satin and gloss etc… you can use it to go over paper and especially in a bathroom this will help protect it from the steam etc. dead flat is truly a flat Matt! Great stuff. Marc
@@spencercolgan Hello Spencer, thank you for all your videos! They are so helpful in getting up my confidence to start my project: a William Morris wallpaper in my bathroom (Trellis). I came here to ask you specifically about Polyvine Decorator's Dead Flat Varnish, and see it mentioned here right at the top. Did you take a look at the link, and if so, what do you think of the product? Thank you.
@@spencercolgan I can attest for the Polyvine Varnish. It’s so great. I put 2 coats satin and 1 coat of dead flat over. It’s really is flat and it’s amazing stuff. I hung wallpaper in a small bathroom that got pretty steamy. And the varnish really protects it well (1.5 years so far).
Great job well done Spencer
Looking great Spencer
above the door, i would just use some white chalk and create straight lines (grid) to visually help it look more seamless. great job btw
Great idea
Another quality job Spencer . Shields primer is difficult to find around here. I still prefer Zinsser 123
Only problem is it needs to dry over night.
Dan, I always appreciate your kind remarks. Especially your help and suggestions
