G;day to you! That Ford Fairlane brought back Memories of a miss spent youth here in OZ, mate had the 4 door version, ah what great times in the Drive In's! Perth West Aust.
Great country Australia, one of the greatest of all my memories, I drove a Ford Falcon estate with one elbow out the window right round that mighty land, I had one really brown arm, my bucket list is a simple one, to stay in outback pubs & drive between em.
@@paulbutterworthbillericay G'day Paul, thanks for reply,I forgot what we call a Station Wagon here you call an Estate, cheers again Paul! ps did something similar back in '72 Bugger of a Big place to drive to a Pub!🤣
Ah great so you know all about Aus pubs, going back 30 years, we camped out at the Daly Waters Pub, & I was stood there, this fella turned up towing a caravan in a big cloud of dust, , he jumps out, says he's got a raging thirst, in the back of his car an eski & empty alcohol free beers all over the seats, he walks straight in the bar has a cold one, comes back he says "Flamin heck mate, I reckon I messed up taking the scenic route" then he walks over to the caravan & looking under he goes "Yep I I hit a jump & wripped me water tank off, if ya wanna use me cooker help yourself in the caravan, right I'm off for another to the bar", & it always stayed with me,
The owners make it complete to me, always an interest to talk with them, Rain & Wind have been a challenge, & when you head out, you never quiet know if you'll be lucky with the weather, but I was lucky on the day
Nice place to visit, I used to show off my car there, had good times, only 15 mins drive for me to get there. Thanks for sharing.
Yes is a great place to show your car or bike, & like you close to get to all the best
