My mother in law was a canadian wren and her fiancee was killed on juno. Little did she know her future husband was storming gold beach at the same time her fiancee was storming juno, simply the gratest generation of all time. God bless the canadians and all who fought

What ratio did you go with

Our family is from Great Dunmow. 8 Star Lane. Only just started watching this. It's wrong, at 14:56 it's saying the house at the corner of Star Lane and the Dr's Pond. Was the Dr's House. The Dr's house was located on North Street opposite the Pond. The red brick building. This was also their surgery. Dr Rayner kept the leeches in the pond. The house on the corner of Star Lane, was a single storey thatched cottage until early 1950. It aws bought by Jock Long. Who built the house as it is now. Growing up the pond was full of aquatic life. Frogs, toads, stickle backs and red throats. Some newts. Lots of weeds. Someone put Carp in there, and destroyed all the other aquatic life. Roger Lawrence. Ottawa. Canada.

I had this exact car and year color, everything. LOVED it. Never had a better handling car. Mine was slightly beefed up. Could do wheelstands. As I am only 5'8", the car felt custom made for me. Added a 12" Momo steering wheel could lock to lock in one sweep. A pistol grip shifter. Never had to remove my hand from the central arm rest. Sold in in Hawaii. After getting paranoid about the height and ABSOLUTELY no crash protection. As they said..."if you get into a crash, might as well bury you in it. 😅 I STILL have good dreams about that car.

I see a bunch of unrideable clown bikes.....where are the frisco choppers? Not even gonna pay homage to the culture you're into with a real chopper........

I had a TC Europa back in 1975. It was first registered in 1971 and, like most Europas had low mileage 😉. I only had it a few months as it kept going wrong - I got to know the people in the parts department of my local Lotus dealer quite well. It eventually had to go because the crown wheel and pinion broke when changing a drive shaft, the failure of which caused “interesting” handling. A few months after I sold it into the trade I found out it had twice been an insurance write off 🙄. It remains an itch I’d like to scratch but I doubt I could get in one these days 😀

Glad you have Webers (or Dellortos) instead of those horrid Strombergers (yes, I know I mis-spelled that). I have never forgiven Lotus for using those horrid things. I have had a few Europas, and it was one of my favorite cars of all time. It had its' annoying charm ;-)

Thanks again Paul another great video of a great show with yet another good band to listen to. Love how you treat the owners and vehicles with respect and because you do that they are willing to stop and talk. Its so interesting to listen to what they have done with their vehicles and its history. If I ever have a big Lottery win I would certainly start up my own collection.

Thanks Paul great video of what was clearly a great show which had the bonus of being able to listen to a good band. I can't say that I saw a bike that I wouldn't want to own. The Vincent was immaculate but I also loved the Indian Chief.

Hi. You mention in the video that you can’t wipe it. When the wall becomes wet on a rainy day, would you get a residue from it if something came into contact with it? Also, can you see this working going directly onto concrete block work? Cheers
