It's full of holes so obviously not waterproof. The closest you can get to a waterproof version is the Trail Glove 7 GTX (Goretex). Otherwise you can get the VG6 leather which should have a bit of water resistance.
I am trying to get a reference point for sizing. I know my size for vivobarefoot primus trail FG. Did you go with the same size for this compared to your vivobarefoot ?
I'm a loose 44 (43.5 would be better but it doesn't exist) in my Primus Lite Knit. I'm a 45 in VG6 but had to go half a size further up because it's too narrow. Merrell's sizing guide has accurate lengths. I'd say go 1-1.5 sizes up in the Merrell.
These look like a good summer shoe in general.
Would love to see what you think of the VG6 Leather
I don't see much of a point in the leather version. Sure maybe the uppers will hold up longer but the sole will be gone loong before that.
Leather ones are really warm. And they get little but wider if gets wet in rain or something...
is it waterproof if not any merrell option which is vibram and waterproof thank you
