- Distinguished newscaster Walter Cronkite was the special guest for the Tabernacle Choir's 2002 Christmas Concert. A highlight of the program was his narration of "Silent Night, Holy Night," the story of the Christmas Truce of 1914. This presentation contains the entire concert of joyous Christmas music performed by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square.

OMG, YES !!!!
I can't believe this is nearly 20 years old!!! These concerts were sooo much different back then!!! Hardly anything like they are nowadays!
I agree, it is becoming the Mac and Ryan show with the Tabernacle Choir and guests
Neither were news anchors.
"To see him conducting the orchestra. Another skill he had I didn't know."
- Robin Williams (RIP)
Christmas music and songs promote spiritual uplift and awakening, and activates the soul
That short but intensive song of March of the Three Kings were very clean and sublime. Impressive I am of this version
I had the pleasure of being at this concert. I knew Steve Wunderli, then Creative Director and writer of the presentation Mr. Cronkite made. I am proud to think Steve inspired me to pursue a career in Design. Thank you Steve. This was a most memorable performance and very inspiring.
