  • Expedition organised by Marine Research Germany took place between 26th of september and 1st of october 2023.

    Wreck 1: Unidentified German Kriegsmarine WWII tug boat off Warnemünde, Germany. Built in 1929 in Alkmaar, Netherlands. Wreck length - 18 m (60 ft). Max depth - 9m (30 ft).

    Wreck 2: Unknown wooden wreck at Kadetbank between Germany and Denmark. Possibly a fishing boat. Wreck length - 20 m (65 ft). Max depth - 18m (60 ft).

    Wreck 3: German cargo schooner "Amazone" off Rügen Island. Built in 1921 in Bremen, Germany. Sunk in 1938 in storm with a cargo of scrap paper. Wreck length - 30 m (100 ft). Max depth - 19m (60 ft).

    Wreck 4: Danish 6th rate frigate "Mynden" off Cape Arkona. Built in 1679 in Copenhagen. Sunk in 1718 after grounding. Wreck length - 15 m (50 ft), Original length 26 m (84 ft). Max depth - 10m (30 ft).

    Wreck 5: German WWI light cruiser SMS "Undine" in Arkona Bassin between Germany and Sweden.
    Built in 1902 in Kiel, Germany. Sunk in 1915 by the British Submarine E-19. Wreck length - 105 m (345 ft). Max depth - 47 m (155 ft).

    Wreck 6: German aviso SMS "Wacht" in Arkona Bassin. Built in 1888 in Bremen, Germany. Sunk in 1901 after a collision with the corvette SMS "Sachsen". Wreck length - 86 m (280 ft). Max depth - 42 m (140 ft).

    Wreck 7: German mail steamer "Großfürst Konstantin" off Island Hiddensee, Germany. Built in 1857 in Rostock, Germany. Sunk in 1861 in pack ice. Wreck length - 55 m (180 ft). Max depth - 21 m (70 ft).

    Wreck 8: Unknown wooden flat-bottom cargo sailing ship off Island Hiddensee. Wreck length - 25 m (80 ft). Max depth - 24 m (78 ft)

      Hi! Unfortunately I left project "Euronaut" in 2020. The sibmarine rests ashore since then. The videos you see are just my personal good memories now.
