I remember, this was just when I was getting into golf (thanks mostly to Phil's exciting win at the Masters earlier that year) and the whole idea of using a 3-wood or hybrid from just off the green became its own niche ideology for the next... 3 years? 3.5? It never really took off but Todd made it work, and links golf in particular calls for creativity. This may have been his only moment in the Sun but he did earn it.
