$5 is actually the same price of boba in areas that aren't expensive but in CA, NY and those kind of places boba could be $6-7. DDV update comes out tomorrow which I didn't realize so I might hold off. The creative mode looks exciting but since the game only took 6 months to make, it makes sense why this game feels short. Short games aren't my style so I might not grab this right away, but I think the creative mode would be super fun when I do decide to buy it. I hope lots of people buy this game though, it looks super cute!
Reminds me a bit of the Facebook game Restaurant City for some reason, I really want to try more restaurant-based games that aren't mobile games so I'm definitely checking it out! I hope it'll come to consoles as well
The color palette reminds me so much to Cats & Soup, kind of the same gameplay with a few obvious adjustments. Look cozy enough, specially for the price. Thanks for your thoughtful review Josh.
Your reviews are my go too! This looks super cute! And more of a mobile game feel. It would be a nice easy pick me up in between bigger games. Hopefully it comes to consoles. 😀
I saw my favorite creature so YES I will get this game someday 🌝🌝🌝The art and color palette remind me of Good Pizza, Great Pizza! I had fun watching you play the demo and I love management sim! So many ways to customize each building
5-7$ for 1,5 hours of basic gameplay, i'll pass. It's a 1-2$ game at best considering the gameplay + how long it takes to finish it and that it has roughly no replayability. The game looks cute though.
@@themaxtails Nobody said that 50$ for a game, any game, was worth it. All games are too expensive anyway in my opinion, no matter if they give you 7 hours or 40 hours of gameplay, they should never be 50 or 70$, even less if they don't include all DLCs, 100% of games should be maximum 30$... 30$ for the big AAA. But despite that, talking about Mario, most Mario games at least bring replayability and fun which don't seem the case for that game according to what I saw. But hey, you have the right to spend 5$ on that game, I don't really care, I was just sharing my opinion :) As for myself I'l wait till it's 1-2$ on sale.
This is probably one of the rare games that have caught my eye well enough to buy. Thanks for the great review Josh!

I like that you can expand the UI as you go and build!
Days ago, i already decided to buy it when it is released😂 my favorite kind of game
There was a very famous flash game that let you build streets. I guess the idea came from there. can't remember its name ..
What can you do on the right side of the street where there are no shops?
Idk why but it reminds me of lemonade tycoon on my old phone 😄
Yes! Lemonade Tycoon was great! It does feel similar in some ways.

That was the most fun stream! And the game is cheaper than a Mike and Piper's boba!
@@mike1024. Tbh I was checking if Josh left a few easter eggs 😂😂😂 I was hoping to see Mike and Piper's
Boba in my country just around 1 usd 🤔

That's like saying $50 for a Mario game that lasts for 7 hours is not worth it.

There’s a lot of cute mobile games out there. Check out stuff by Hyperbeard, their games have a similar art style to this one.
Boring game
