Fair enough. I suppose flooding might be a problem in the Austin area. I'm not sure. In DFW where I am it's not as much of an issue. But foundations get destroyed all the time by the means I described. Basements would fare even worse.

Does anyone else feel like Achievement Cove is kind of a failed experiment? It was started and never really fully finished on screen. There was a lot of videos shortly after it was made where they didn't even go there at all and since then it has barely been shown. And the way it looks/the layout is kind of a mess. I know they wanted to replace Achievement City for the fans, but I honestly don't mind them just dropping into mini games and not using the Cove at all. I don't think they need it. If they really want a personalized city they should just let their community make it for them. A half dozen of their most insanely good Minecraft builders would probably make an awesome town/city for them and personalize it like crazy. Them exploring it for the first time would also make for a great video.

Hey @LetsPlay - a neat Minecraft trick I was informed of recently when dealing with animal husbandry (like your sheep) is to abandon gates and place a piece of carpet on a fence post. Players can then use it to hop in and out of the pen but the animals can't!
at least for places like Florida, part of why there aren't basements in the south is the water table. If you're already at or below sea level, digging down to build isn't always a great idea lol
I did this in my world as well! Except I created my own village with houses that were each custom. If you want to move a villager, click on them like you want to buy something and then have someone else push them. Much easier than trying to get them there
The most productive construction crew of all time. Lindsay digs a hole, fills it with illegal blocks, turns off creative before destroying them, breaks them all with the wrong tool, and Ryan fills the hole back in with dirt. Nailed it.
It's legitimately like, every 10 episodes that they forget and re-remember that explosions do hurt in water. Anyone been dedicated enough to track exactly how many times they've done that?
My girlfriend and I do something very similar only instead of building the village from the ground up, we go looking for a village and we flip it. We tidy it up, build more structures and basically turn it into a fort with the villagers getting jobs and such. We then create golems and go find an Illager outpost to get cursed and try to start a raid and see how well the battle goes. lol

I like the normal villages better, cause that mod takes a lot of time, effort, and the avoidance of getting raided.
In Minecolonies you have to manage a colony. Which we all can say that Achievement Hunters can't do without it becoming a chaos.

I did this in my world as well! Except I created my own village with houses that were each custom. If you want to move a villager, click on them like you want to buy something and then have someone else push them. Much easier than trying to get them there
The most productive construction crew of all time. Lindsay digs a hole, fills it with illegal blocks, turns off creative before destroying them, breaks them all with the wrong tool, and Ryan fills the hole back in with dirt. Nailed it.
It's legitimately like, every 10 episodes that they forget and re-remember that explosions do hurt in water. Anyone been dedicated enough to track exactly how many times they've done that?
My girlfriend and I do something very similar only instead of building the village from the ground up, we go looking for a village and we flip it. We tidy it up, build more structures and basically turn it into a fort with the villagers getting jobs and such. We then create golems and go find an Illager outpost to get cursed and try to start a raid and see how well the battle goes. lol
