Excellent video. I write a list for my husband and he makes the Costco run. Being a plant-based eater, you would not appreciate the good prices for bacon, eggs, butter or cheeses, but they are normally on my list. We are a household of two these days, but I still buy the larger packages and either freeze or add to my prepper pantry. We too stay away from the prepared foods but I get lots of meals from each of those Costco rotisserie chickens. Thanks for all your thoughtful tips.
Great video. However I did not renew my Costco membership this year simply because I do not want to fight the crowds. I will willingly pay more through Azure just to not have to go to Costco. (I was a member for many, many years). Happy to see you are finding great deals.
Does Costco still lower the price of their rotisserie chickens after 6pm? I no longer live near one...miss the good deals. The trash bags and tp are amazing deals...
That’s a great question! Definitely stick with cheaper cuts of meat, and buy the organic whole chickens that come in a two pack. I think those are going to be the best prices at Costco. Also, I would really be watching your local grocery store sale ads for good meat deals.
Love this! Although our carrots were 3.49 and now they are 6.49 😕 and the berries are always like $7 - $8 dollars in the winter for a small container so I always buy frozen and in the summer sometimes the pricing is better. I notice sometimes you buy organic produce and sometimes you don't. Do you mostly buy organic?
I prioritize grains and beans to always be organic, but I am flexible in most other areas. I think it’s better to eat healthy foods, then to avoid them if they are not organic.
Your advice is solid - prepared and convenience food will explode your budget. Eating “whole foods” doesn’t have to bust the budget.

I haven’t seen that before, but that’s awesome 🤩
What about the meat prices?

Thanks for another great video! With it just being my hubby and I still shop @ Costco
If I was just buying for myself, I would still shop at Costco! ❤️
Thank you for the tips
