We Tried Fixing a MacBook Motherboard Over Zoom-Here's What Happened!

In this video, I share with you an exciting project that we did with my friend where we used schematics diagram and board view and successfully fixed a dead MacBook air 13’’ A1466 2015. I decided to share this video so that you can see the power of these documents and probably learn how to use them to fix any type of laptop.
The laptop had previously attempted to be repaired but was unsuccessful. Upon further examination, we discovered that the motherboard had suffered from liquid damage, which had caused a resistor to malfunction. This resistor is responsible for providing power to the internal RAM power supply chip, and its failure was causing the laptop to not turn on.
We carefully cleaned the damaged area and used the schematics diagram to identify the values of the faulty resistor. The connections where it was soldered to the motherboard had rusted off. After considering our options, we created a jumper from the next test point to the line into the chip. This solution allowed us to bypass the damaged connections and successfully power the laptop.
