When I was in Flagstaff, Arizona on St. Patrick’s Day, my husband and I stayed at this hotel and went out to dinner and it was really cold and raining off and on but had a fun time for St. Patrick’s day, but around midnight we just got to our hotel and we were woken up by loud thunder but it was snowing, too. It was wild. Our first time seeing thunder and snowing at the same time. Since we’re from Southern California, we have to drive to the mountains to see snow, but we never seen thunder snow, it must be rare or only happens where it snows a lot in other states. 🤔
As soon as that little yellow lens dryer comes out i instantly get a warm nostalgic feeling to 5 years ago and first Backstreet in Rain video. Boy that video got me through some hard times... my stress level drops every time i rewatch it. Thank u so much for these videos
The scenery is so pretty! I especially like how the snow reflects light; it adds a magical quality to your walk. 21:11 with the frozen cherry blossoms is one of my favorite shots from this video; I would use it as a background.
@Rambalac I saw that post about you quitting making videos, I'm glad to see you back brother, Ive got a lot of catching up to do with what you've posted recently and a lot of lonely university study nights ahead, just like always. But its not so bad when you're keeping company. I wanted to say that, for years I would watch your videos with stars in my eyes about going to japan, and how wonderful it looked. I'm glad to say that I studied hard on learning Japanese, and finally went last summer 2023 on a study abroad for two months and it was everything I dreamed it was. Until the next time I can go, i'll have to live through you until I can live there for a while. Thank you for letting me dream through your videos, to making it happen for real. Thank you for everything.
a real challenge with the sticky snow on the lens. The blower is a great solution. Thanks for letting me see these chilly, uplifting moments. It almost never snowed in Nagoya when I lived there for two years. Tokyo always got snow. I remember the cold. Hope you had a nice warm drink after. I like how your stabilizer does not bob up and down. Snow and lightning!
So strange after no snow all season to suddenly see so much of it! Thanks for going to the effort to get these shots, it was even crazier than it looked on the live feeds!
I live in Australia, so I am not used to such winters that can bring snow. I have worked in freezers for 10 or so years, I am somewhat used to the cold, but I think it would be the wind that would cut straight through me. Plus, I am not used to walk on that ice I can see on the streets there, so I would probably spend a lot of time slipping up and landing on my backside.
Une marche absolument magnifique, planante, avec ces bruits d'orage en arrière plan. Les couleurs des néons donnent une atmosphère rare, magique. Un grand merci, Ram' !
13:54 So very cool to see lightning when it’s snowing. That is some very loud thunder! 😬.. I’m in Southern California, thunder isn’t that loud lol.. I saw that snow with lightning and thunder in Flagstaff, Arizona a few years ago. We saw it going on from our hotel room the night before we went to see the Grand Canyon the next day. It was even more spectacular with snow around the Grand Canyon. I hope you get to visit there someday. But never during the summer season. Too hot and dry, plus a lot more tourists. Go when it’s much cooler weather. 😁
Absolutely stunning - true snowstorm in Tokyo, lightnings, thunders ❄⚡❄⚡! Seeing Asakusa, the Sumida, Sky Tree hiding in clouds like this - amazing💙! Felt sorry for the first plum in blossom - got an icy welcome 🌸❄! Did your shoes prove waterproof (so as your mic this time 😅)? I hope you ate something hot and yummy after the walk 😋❤ !!!
Thank you for freezing yourself half to death so that we people in Western Australia, who are in the middle of a heatwave, can feel a little cooler 🙏🏻 Tokyo is stunning! The snow is stunning! Love your walks! Thank you AGAIN! 💝🦘🐨
this is amazing !! I loved visiting here in the summer, it is incredible to now see it with snow falling in winter. Thank you for your amazing videos !
This walk from Asakusa to SkyTree is one of my favorite when I'm in tokyo. Thank you for reminding me that, when i can not be in my favorite country. Hope to come back soon for the 6th times!
Bonsoir rambalac merci pour la promenade mais pas trop marrant pour toi il fait froid,et je pense que la neige est molle donc ça doit glisser bon courage et encore merci❤
It’s interesting to see them using umbrellas while walking in the snow, but other countries don’t use an umbrella when it snows. We’ll wear a knitted hat or a hoodie to cover our head or nothing to cover our head, but it also makes sense to use an umbrella when it’s snowing. Since I’m around snow once a year for a week, visiting other states in America in the winter, I should take my umbrella. I love the snow but it does make my hair wet while walking around different towns. I have slipped a few times in the slushy sidewalks or ice when I try to avoid it, I need better snow shoes, too. Japan would be fun to visit during snow season, I bet it’s so pretty. 😁
what about the voice-activated vending machine at 23:01? I love your snowstorm night walks. This time, although, the vending machine was a pleasant surprise. I did not know you walked with a droid. Thank you, for the technology treat.
One of the best walks ever on your channel. Rewatching in Dec 2024. Thank you for all that you do for us all.
Pretty cool that you got THUNDERSNOW in this one! That doesn't happen very often.

Hilarious at 29:37! Those kids made my day!
Big Master´s!🙌🙌🙌
What I think is funny is that someone came up with the idea of a "Snow Poo" snowball maker and actually sold one,,
💩
Thank you for daring the cold to show us the BEAUTIFUL night snowfall in Asakusa! Absolutely Spectacular! And those girls at TC 29:00 were hilarious!
Japan beautiful in the snow. Beautiful country and people.
your channel is so simple but so awesome. Thanks for these walking vlogs. I think Japan is the perfect country for this kind of content.
Thanks!

What would my life be without your walks. Glad you caught this snowstorm on cam. Thank you for your hard work, take care Ram!
Thanks for braving the elements for us, Rambalac!
There are a bunch of live cameras I like to poke around on, and saw how hard it was snowing that day! I'm glad you got it on 'film' 😁
Thank you so much for your content! Can't afford travelling to Japan now and your videos bring so much joy

1:11:34 Straight out of a science fiction movie 👽
Watching in late spring, eating an ice pop and longing for cool weather comfort already
