Cristiano Ronaldo and Paul Pogba have caught attention by removing sponsors' drinks bottles - and it did not go unnoticed by Scotland's John McGinn at his Euro 2020 press conference.
Paul Pogba removed a bottle of Heineken beer that had been placed in front of him at a Euro 2020 news conference on Tuesday, a day after Cristiano Ronaldo moved aside Coca-Cola bottles in a similar set-up.
France midfielder Pogba, a practising Muslim, removed the bottle - which happened to be a non-alcoholic version - when he spoke to the media after he was named man of the match in France's 1-0 Group F win over Germany in Munich.

Let’s be honest, sticking sugary drinks and alcohol under professional athletes’ noses was always a bad marketing strategy.
That's way it UEFA's marketing strategy!
It must work if they're paying that much to advertise them
Exactly UEFA morons
They’re paying to have their sugary garbage associated with the footballer sitting behind it…in this case, Ronaldo. I don’t blame him for getting rid of the bottles.

Or maybe next week coca-cola, heineken withdraw all the prize money and you wont have any euros... Why do these athletes accept money from the same companies they condemn. Or maybe Pogba and ronaldo should put their money where their mouths are and sponsor these events with their own capital:)
@@dylangoncalves6382 euros would get another sponsor, these athletes arent sponsored by coke or heineken. Similar to this incident, UFC fighters put down monster energy drinks because they arent sponsored by them, nothing wrong with it.
