lol yeah he interdicted me and did a scan and told me I was free to go. I almost opened fire but held back because I had other business. He wasn’t prepared for a hull tank. He runs 2 feedback cascade torps.
yeh, I have to give him his due, he took out a couple of modules with grom bombs XD He wasn't going to be able to do much else with that loadout, but I was very pleased to see how quick I could get through his health pool with this setup, and he deserves it for that cheesy roleplay lmao. @@Webgear totally different goals from the game. I just want to be known as someone who's a tough fight and chill to play with. I don't need the bounties or the explosions, the win is good enough for me. Thanks for the props man, low effort editing, but I try to make em interesting. o7
I know what you mean, but not many hardpoints on the FAS, I actually more commonly run it with two large PA up and down despite the convergence issue and either force shells or rails in the mediums (if rails then a feedback naturally), oh for a ship with 8 hardpoints :D
Okay as much as I like Webgear, why did he thought to himself this is a good idea to interdict a ship that is in a wing. Torp cascades had only one shot if they fired.
To be fair, neither I nor my squad mate that he interdicted just for his roleplay kicks, were in a wing at the time, my wingmate in the vid was in another location practicing with another squadmate (4 different people including me altogether), but hey, if you go to deciat, interdict pvpers with weak ass roleplay, someone's gonna come and dunk you. :D I didn't deliberately choose this ship as a counter, it just happened to be waht I was in at the time, but yeh, poor webgear didn't have a single chance, I was very much a counter to his build, but hey, it makes for a funny story and this vid is fast work, highly aggressive, definitely worth the upload I hope you agree. @@theashenfox I agree to you though, his build solely rely on torpedoes to knock out shields but has only one use. And his ship's stats are not that armored compare to your FAS so he had a bad time trying to snipe your Powerplant with his Rail guns. I think he should've done there is to target your drives instead. I watched this guy so many times how to fight in his Krait phantom/Krait mk2. Overall his build shouldn't be use against a very armoured ship let alone a entire wing. His build is solely use as a "Hitman/Assassin ship" to take down specific targets. Note: I don't really hate the video, I find it funny to see that there is a counter to his build. And see it in a different perspective. I guess every ship builds has weakness after all. :)
@@theashenfox No, it's all good. I do the PvP Bounty Hunter schtick, and the ship is "fine" against the Corvettes and Cutters I normally see with huge bounties. It's not a "PvP" build (yes, all player interactions are PvP, even Exploration...) but even so every now and then I get BRNN or ARXX player.

Cascade torps are generally pretty bad, they're only really affective on bigger ships, or mediums if the pilot is awful/ you get the ghost torp bug. It does however give someone using them a very good excuse to wake out if they miss a lock on weapon. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

yeh it was just for the lulz, but about crimes at farseer...the trouble with that is if you're just a pvper like me, not a griefer, I don't kill paper ships, but I attack pvp ships for the glory and the giggles. Now, if I shoot you above farseer and you have crimes on, and I decide to fight to the death or you manage to call a wing in and prevent me escaping, it's going to cost me mats in jumponium (combat ship can only jump to nearby systems) just to get back to the pvp area, which is...kinda cruel and unusual. I honestly believe that if you're doing pvp you should have crimes off, although I do understand the issue of fighting griefers at farseer who just respawn on the pad, it;s a conundrum FD should solve in some way.
Yea, I agree with you, no doubt. There are game mechanics working against us here. But Farseer is not really a 'PvP' arena like Shin. It's filled with new players. If you fly a PvP purpose build, you have weaknesses, like jumprange. Just like an purpose build explorer build won't have much shield or weapons.

found out what this is, it's powerplay. If I'm pledged to an enemy power, then he (as an Aisling follower in an Aisling system) has the hunter tag.

I'm just watching him banking those shields. I cant fly without feedback cascade anymore it just feels wrong.
