Please refer worked out calculations / formula used in HASS Software to find pressure in pipe ( Tree type sprinkler and Deluge water spray for transformer ) . Already i succeeded to find out pressure loss using Hazen william ,But still i need to find pressure in pipe - same elevation and in different elevation

@@TanweerAhmed my point of confusion was that no matter how big the building is, as long as the hazard category is ordinary hazard, you will end up with the same size design area and density , and because of that, you will end up with the same results for water demand and pressure.

Dear bhai, I am now facing problem to solve a problem. If fire pump room (Extra Hazard) lies inside the multi storied building (light hazard) and total building is protected by sprinkler system. Then as per hazard classification requirements shall I need to consider extra hazard design requirements or the principal hazard. If you have time please let me know your opinion.
Hazard classification shall be as per location and design shall be accordingly. Finally flow will be added and finalised. Sprinklers shall be installed according to hazard wise location.

For extended coverage there is a separate table for sprinkler spacing. The pipe schedule will remain same as engr. Tanveer replied you. Extended coverage spacing and height factor must be considered. Max coverage height is 6.1 meter.

sir one of my customer is running the Overhead Fire Pump 24 hours. now Safety Relief Valve is Leaking ! Safety Relief Valve (the three hole flange disc ) leak has been repaired by trained Plumber/fitter. But should we run Fire Pump at all times ? I don't Think so !
NFPA 25-1998 did require the annual fire pump flow-test for both electric-motor driven fire pumps and engine-driven fire pumps to have a 30-minute churn test at no-flow conditions to begin the test. This was to ensure the pressure relief valve opened to allow circulating water to cool the pump when operating at standby (i.e. no-flow) conditions.

NFPA recommend that if water is clean then no need for strainer and if water is dirty then provide strainer. Conditions: 1. If water is clean then you should provide strainer in makeup (inlet) pipeline of tank. 2. If water is dirty then provide strainer in suction of fire pump
Sprinkler these technical data checked and witnessed by the manufacturer of sprinkler. We check the pipelines and fire pumps pressure test as per NFPA requirements.

NFPA are international standards. India, Pakistan and mostly world countries follow these standards. Only they little bite change standard and make them country brand standards.
What is residual pressure? The minimum pressure that you can expect in the system. It is used in design. If you increase then it will affect on different locations. Then more PRV required at different locations to maintain working pressure.
Fire Pump head is pressure which can be check through pressure gauge, if system is installed. If system is not installed then Pump head is written on fire Pump name plate.

Suggest to review graph of density and protection area of sprinklers then you will understand. Density will change according to area

27.2.4.11 Minimum Operating Pressure.
27.2.4.11.1 Minimum operating pressure of any sprinkler shall
be 7 psi (0.5 bar).
27.2.4.11.2 Where a higher minimum operating pressure for
the desired application is specified in the listing of the sprinkler, this higher pressure shall be required.

Hello Sir, Can you please provide calculation for pipe size? what is the calculation for 1" pipe for 2 Sprinklers. 2" pipe 10 Sprinkler, 3" pipe 40 sprinklers? Please provide same. Thanks Sir
Follow pipe schedule method as per nfpa-13 and also check how much water can flow according to pipe size.

NFPA are international standards. India, Pakistan and mostly world countries follow these standards. Only they little bite change standard and make them country brand standards.

Why do you want to increase residual pressure?

What is residual pressure? The minimum pressure that you can expect in the system. It is used in design. If you increase then it will affect on different locations. Then more PRV required at different locations to maintain working pressure.

Fire pump ka head kaise chek kar sakte h
Fire Pump head is pressure which can be check through pressure gauge, if system is installed. If system is not installed then Pump head is written on fire Pump name plate.
