I’m a graphic designer. Serif fonts are easier to read at smaller sizes because of the serifs (the little legs that jut out). They help our eyes differentiate the letters. Also there tends to be more variations in thickness of the letters on serif fonts. You’re taught in design school to use serif fonts for smaller sizes and for body text to increase legibility.

There were quite a few decks I fell in love with.
I really loved the Old Style Tarot, the art totally spoke to me! The Scarab & Dahlia Tarot is stunning! That Endless Oracle was super cool too- perfect fit in that gorgeous new paggybag! Oh and the Magical Creatures deck, beautiful!

So many goodies! What a haul! ❤ I was NOT the one who recommended the Old Style Tarot, but I do have it and love it. I think part of its charm is not just the old style imagery but that it leans into the old style fortune teller vibe. Most decks nowadays lean into self development, shadow work, inner child, etc. which is great, but tarot isn't just a spiritual tool. Its history of being a divinatory tool as a form of cartomancy is sometimes, not always, lost. So I like that this deck hits both marks. Just my rambling thoughts.
Oh and the Peggybag is the best! Pretty please Peggy, come back to making mini pocket pouches as well. I was looking at them the other day because I want a mini bag for the Carrot cards. 🥕

Darn it Lisa! My budget is screaming and it's your fault! ROFL!! The Magical Creatures Tarot looks like a must have and then of course I saw the Northern Animal Tarot! HELP ME!! ROFL! Thank you so much for your energy and enthusiasm you have for the creations. Eric's work is wonderful and I see several of his decks I would like to add as well, but all of it will have to be eeked out and hopefully none will go out of print before I'm able to get them

Every deck in this roundup is absolutely gorgeous... love the line drawing of the True Sight Oracle, really evokes the old 1970s early editions of Gygax's (at the time) revolutionary roleplaying system, still have my red box edition of D&D in my storage lock-up, the 'sourcebooks' are held together with clear tape on mine :D
