- My early thoughts on Arishem the Judge who comes to Marvel SNAP in July during the last week of The Eternals season. Let me know how strong you think this new card will be and what combos you are excited to try!

This card screams absolute chaos,between putting him,quinjet,and the agent cards and Loki,your opponent is going to have no idea what’s going to happen and almost never know when to snap

with Thanos being so terribly inconsistent for me, even when most of the cards he adds to your deck draws other cards... I can't imagine this being *more* consistent when it adds *double* the amount of cards and those cards are all random
It isn't more consistent than Thanos, but it gives you +1 energy from the start. You consistently ramp into inconsistent plays😅

I saved up tokens for this guy. He looks fun. I'll try him with High Evo and Blink. High Evo deck likes extra energy so awkward hands don't hurt as badly and turn 1 ramp for it rules. Blink helps bad cards maybe be better ones, and Quinjet will be in because it's just too much value.

Cards that can create its own archetype are very much welcome. I enjoy mill a lot with the introduction of Zemo and now I will have another one to build around.

He has so much insane potential but the problem is it will be hard to build a proper deck with him. Also this is a buff for dark hawk and I wonder if that's the real reason for his nerf. With that said I do think he is a must get just because it's a new ark type and those cards are must pull regardless if good or not
Cost reduction/extra energy is powerful enough on its own. My thoughts: Build a deck with that in mind and you'll be able to overcome awkward rng.

Corvus Blade on 2 and now you have +2 energy per turn and a chance to play a lot of the cards you get
I wish he’s anouced as a Big Bad. I would spend 6k tokens for the fun.

competitive = zero star. to be honest arishem is only flexible and fun card. not more
Is Arishem discard going to be a thing? I'll certainly give it a go.
If you look at it, all the cards from this season could go into 1 deck
For conquest mode it might be funny to use custom cards and make them the basic skin with the basic border. Then your opponent won’t even be able to tell what was random and what was actually in your deck.
The borders/split could match what you have on Arishem - like how Thanos Stones match Thanos and Loki Cards match Loki.
We will have to see if clicking on a card after it's played shows if it was generated or not (Loki cards don't).
@@docty_snap Oh good point, either way if you make it the extra cards borders match borders match the rest of your deck, it will camouflage your build
Great idea but I think it would say "Created by Arishem" just like with Camp Lehigh cards.

I think you just fill your Arishem deck with Mockingbird/Quinjet, tech cards and high-cost drops like Doom.
Maybe now Howard the Duck can see a game (???) Idk, you see which a random card you'll draw

You really think he should stay the same? I'd say make him a 7-10 at least. You never want to play a 7 Cost for just 7 power.
He isn't meant to be played often. High Evo decks don't play High Evo, and Thanos decks try to play things other than Thanos.
Arishem's ability triggers at the start of the game like High Evo and Thanos, so you already get value without even playing him. And for 7 energy he would need to have insane power to be worth it.
@@docty_snap Yea I know they do that, but recently they wanted to make the stones buff Thanos. So that change is coming soon. High Evo is not top tier anymore. Especially with Red Hulk now. Maybe it's time to buff him too, 4-6 or something.
With Arishem you get random cards. You said it yourself he doesn't seem very competitive. Why not give him 3 more power? It would be cool to actually play the card. And be honest, even at 10 power he's probably not getting much played anyway.
He should not only double deck size but double his power. 14 would make him viable.
Most games you won't actually draw Arishem. When you do, you will often play other cards even if he was 14 Power. His value isn't being played, it's from start of game effects like High Evo.
@@docty_snap I know but I think he should be the all star whenever you get to draw it, contrary to how they designed high evo. Then if he has 7 or 0 power, it's the same.
I hope there is some kind of indication the opponent is playing arishem
You can click on your opponent's avatar to see how many cards are in their hand and deck. This is how you immediately know if they are playing Thanos or Agatha.
If you see 20 cards in their deck on turn 1 you know it's Arishem.
@docty_snap sure, but I think it should be inherent to the game opening so both players are aware their deck functions in a completely different way than normal. Same with High Evo, and Thanos. Game clarity is never a bad thing in my opinion. And Arishem is indicative that they plan on exploring more of these deck altering effects.
Thank you for the coverage. I think Loki might fit just because if you draw junk he can reliable give you a chance with your opponent cards. Also I think blob will fit in to suck up the extra cards in your deck

I kept forgetting to combo Electro with Sauron
Hm would it even work as I intend tho
No because:
1. Sauron would remove ALL of Electro's abilities. This is why Blob has an Ongoing effect so he can't work in Shuri Sauron.
2. Electro sucks after Turn 3 so it wouldn't even be worth it.

Cuz only a few cards are worth it with Sauron, usually Typhoid Mary and Red Skull

@@Zahri8Alang Ebony Maw is playable any turn if it was hit with Sauron. Sauron removes ALL abilities from all cards with Ongoing effects - even if the cards had more abilities than just the Ongoing. Sauron turns Electro and Ebony Maw into No Ability cards.

Something to consider is that having a deck tracker might make Arishem way better. Most of them will keep track of the cards you haven’t seen including Thanos stones and rocks. If a deck tracker can show you the 12 cards added to your deck it might make planning with him a lot easier
If the tracker knows which cards get added then that is HUGE, especially for knowing if you stay or retreat after a Snap.
@@docty_snap I don’t know if other trackers do this, but I know untapped has a drop down for added cards. There might be some way to test if a deck tracker logs added cards besides the stones. Maybe District X? Testing needs to be done but that’s definitely a make-or-break level factor
