Joseph says he loved this video and lucky that you didn’t have more work and that when he’s a driver if he gets more work it’s gonna suck! Haha also he wants you in that truck! He says the diesel is easier.
I think of right-hand drive trucks associated last with the contiguous United States than with the British Isles, Japan, Thailand, Mozambique, Suriname, the former British Raj and select other former British colonies across Afro-Eurasia (among them South Africa, Zimbabwe, Uganda, Malawi, Kenya, Malta, the Republic of Cyprus, Malaysia and Singapore), Oceania (most notably Australia and New Zealand) or the Americas (the only mainland country in the Americas to have left-hand traffic being what was once British Guyana, with the others all islands in the Caribbean).
Interesting to see the contrast with newer and older units where all the buttons move, but why so far away with the ignition? It needs to be user friendly. Its a shame with newer vehicles everything is going digital, i prefer the traditional gauges and meters. I feel like the digital stuff is way more complicated to fix with programming coming into play. Will you ever get the electric truck to drive? I would love to see that POV! Also i hope that rat was not squashed at the dump! How long is the typical wait time to dump? What time is your off time with out overtime? 3pm-4pm?
Dump 30 minutes to an hour. I prefer the older gauges too. Every newer truck the buttons placements are different. Imagine having a laptop and the enter button changes each model. We don't have access to the electric vehicle 😢
What a shame they got rid of 789. Saw it at the junkyard a few weeks ago . Any clue on what truck they’ll give you ? Definitely like the new trucks but sucks for the diesels . A lot of drivers told me they have to get use to the buttons on the new trucks . Definitely can’t wait to become a RCTO in a couple of years .
License classes for what in many European countries are known as heavy good vehicles (HGVs) come in C1 (not more than 7500 kg GVWR, trailer restricted to GVWR of 750 kg), C1E (with trailer, but GCWR of 12,000 kg), C (over 7500 kg, GVWR of trailer 750 kg or less) and CE (over 7500 kg whether or not pulling a trailer) types, with a need to have a valid license of either of the last two types given the GVWR if the intent is to work as a garbage truck driver in any country or territory that uses the same license classes as European Union member states do.
I really liked this POV! It's very interesting to know what you do in a day.
Enjoy the quirks and features of a garbage truck 🚚
Keep up the great work
Yep I member when I got a brand new truck I took good care of it 6375
We would love more ❤
This is a great video! Really wish more drivers did these day in the life videos. Keep on truckin!
Thanks. Yeah all I really see is the truck at work. Time for me to take you all with me and show you an insight
Like you said, recession safe. You have a good job.
Great job I agree 👍 💯
Nice video 👍
Thanks
Thanks for watching
Even though I'm too old, I like working as a janitor

Awesome super happy to hear that 😀. Yeah everyday we have extra work so I was surprised that I didn't atcend of day.
Loved this thanks!
I felt like take your kid to work day
Awesome! Hi5 👋
I drive a Pete 520 with a ZR body. I have to admit I prefer that joystick in the ZE over the rockers on the AmRep

My truck ran strong but was leaking hydraulic oil.
No clue when and wich truck I'll end up with
What do you mean that you can’t drive with the service brake applied? 😂. All trucks do this. Shunt. Tractor. Garbage. Something about safety
After dumping the load do you have to go for another route to pick?
My route is 2 full loads
@@BackToTheFun 2 loads a day. Operating those monsters need skills and you have that. 👍
@@bridgeguy2447 💯. Thanks
Do the trucks stay overnight loaded?
@@BlendedFamilyMan yup
Hello, is it easier on the front loaders or side loaders to get your route done faster ???
@@werewolfpack4691 💯 percent front loader
@werewolfpack4691 also I am talking about here where I am . I don't know how it is elsewhere
@@BackToTheFun how many bins do you have on the schedule with a front loader were your at bro
@@BackToTheFun thanks for the reply 🙏🏼
@werewolfpack4691 I would know. I'm on sideloader but when I get back to the yard for the most part front loader is gone home
Nice video. Do these Trucks generally have AC or not?
@germangarbagetrucks8646 yes they do have ac
why do you put the arm up ontop of the truck when u go to the tip
@leetongarbo7164 if let down there is a rusk of loosing hydraulic pressure causing clamp to close and potentially damaging vehicles next to me
Love your vids bro. What do they use the box trucks for?
@@Jdoogg88 new bins
@@BackToTheFun thanks bro
What kind of truck are you driving?
@@PlayingwithAvery most likely a Peterbilt

This 1 should it's brand new

Yes they do

Those 2 inside the cab are lights not cameras
@succulentflakesofperfectly5541 you are 💯 percent correct 👏 thank you. I'll update next video
Those "cameras" on the inside are not cameras. They are your map lights.
@thatkyledude1093 yes we updated that one thank you

How do I get a job like that? What type of license do I need?
@chillingwithmono6710 1 year experience with cdl class B or A. Air brakes endorsement. Clean driving record are some requirements
