Dude, this is a killer video. Thanks for taking it. I don't know if I'm going to be able to catch them on this tour since my date is already sold out and I'm scared to go to concerts cuz of covid shit. So I really appreciate you taking the time to make this, and in such great quality. You have my sincere thanks.
Try buying tickets at Ticketmaster They have verified resale tickets That's how I got mine I went to the Anaheim show. Both nights and it was sold out when I bought the tickets They cost a little more . Sometimes a lot but it's worth it.
Yes covid was a worry This was my first time being around large groups of people and unmasked I can tell you with confidence I didnt get sick or anyone close to me. It's been over the incubation time I'm also not vaccinated at all. For any of the viruses And I was ok. I know it's scary but you'll be ok
Saw them for the first time at When We Were Young Festival on 10/23/22. They were my favorite 'punk' band back in the day when I was a teenager. I *immediately* had to buy tickets to see them perform a full show. Philly here I come! 11/4/22! Thanks for the video!!
I'm taking both of my daughters (they're 24 and 20, respectively), and my older daughter's boyfriend to see them in Pittsburgh coming up. To be honest, I'm not terribly familiar with AFI, but I'm going because Drab Majesty is the opening act. I've been wanting to see them for a number of years now.
Not sure if you went yet but AFI will make you a forever fan You honestly will enjoy it as much as your kids They put on a great show Ans they have been around 31 years so you get a mix of diffeent genres Drab was good and def felt like seeing a band in the 80s.
@@Handqun Thanks! The show was awesome! Drab Majesty was fantastic. And I'll be honest, I really enjoyed AFI. Around the fourth song in, two dudes started fighting, and the singer stopped the song, and said, quite politely, "Are you two fighting? Would you please stop fighting?" He then politely asked security to intervene. I think my daughter might have recorded that--I'm asking her to forward it to me.
@@ProximoNovio gotcha. Your video quality is great, but it's hard to hear davey. Not sure if it's because of the crowd singing along, or how close you were.
singing with a wired microphone seems limiting in movement since good wireless ones are available..that's old school but I'm a fan of AFI from back in the day..sounds like the singer has lost his voice too
Ive followed them since almost the begining so hard and sing the sorrow was the last true good album. Yes i liked december underground but not really anything after. I saw them live for crashlove and they played old stuff which was great but thats it. Davey sings weird now and idk its not the same.
Damn, you were RIGHT up front! Heck of a show. So glad they kicked off their tour in my little Point Loma venue!

he uses the corded microphone as part of the performance, if you have been a fan and watched any shows you should know. You cant swing a wireless mic.
