Love seeing people discover and appreciate King George. He is a truly awesome man. Eloped with his HS sweetheart, been married over 50 years. Served 4 years in the army, got out as a Corporal. Had a daughter while in the army & she was tragically killed in a car accident at age 13. They also have a son. George got a degree in agriculture when he got out of the army & has been playing music since he was doing Beatles' tunes with his garage band in high school. A gentleman, a real cowboy, an amazingly talented artist, a wonderful husband & father & a philanthropist. A true renaissance man.

Then, something like a decade and a half later, he comes out with *this?* It almost feels to me like after everything, he's still unsure if he's even accomplished anything.

To the best of my knowledge, George Strait was not a bull rider. I know that he was a competitive team roper in his days. I was fortunate to see him live twice. Once in Austin, TX in the early nineties and once in Fargo, ND in 2010 or 2011. Amazing concerts.

He also set the record for biggest indoor concert crowd back in (I think 2014) when he drew over 100,000 people to a concert. George did compete in rodeo, but not as a bull rider.
